Nature of work
CONOCOPHILLIPS SYRIA DEZ GAS LTD, SYRIA.
Rotating assignment - 4 weeks On/Off. Planning and carrying out routine maintenance and trouble shooting of the instruments and systems used in the remote compressor stations which is equipped with GSI compressors controlled by Honeywell PlantScape. Also having hands on experience on Nuovo Pignone gas turbines, which are used for gas compression. Well versed with the control System of turbines Suvimac II which includes Bentley Nevada 3500 Series Vibration Monitoring system and CCC Antisurge control Systems.
Independently handling the Honeywell PlantScape DCS/SCADA systems, LACT (Custody transfer system) and doing monthly validation of metering system, which include Omni, flow computers, Daniel chromatograph, Honeywell Smart Transmitters and Solartron densitometer. Rotating assignment - 4 weeks On/Off, looking after the maintenance of instruments and systems of all unmanned platforms. The responsibility includes planning and carrying out routine maintenance and trouble shooting Well head shut down panels of Haven automation/ Autocon/ Ruelco/ Baker/ and Mid south controls, Fire water pump control panel, Toxic & Combustible gas detection systems of Sieger/ General monitors/ Crowcon, Inst. air compressor control panels, and Test separator. Well versed in operation of 2500 series DANIEL FLOW COMPUTERS used for calculating quantities of oil, water, and gas during testing of wells. Also familiar with the programming of SEMR unit of Geophysical Research Corporation, USA which is used for measuring and storing down hole pressure and temperature of wells Also performing the routine maintenance of various field instruments at the production complex including calibration, trouble shooting and loop checking. The production complex is having two trains of separators, oil treaters, hydrocyclones, water skimmers for oil and water separation and glycol de-hydration system, amine sweetening for gas conditioning.
