Sangu Operations 1999 to Present
PSN Bangladesh Ltd (a company of Halliburton.)
Production Services Network is a major, independent international service contractor to oil and gas exploration and production customers. PSN provides brownfield services including, project management, engineering, construction, commissioning, operations, and maintenance. Specialising in the energy sector, PSN has a mature network of personnel that can target projects in any location worldwide.
Sangu Operations consists of gas producing offshore platform and 265 MMscfd gas processing terminal. Gas is imported from offshore platform via 48 km sub sea pipeline, dehydrated by TEG and processed for hydrocarbon dew pointing with the use of DCS (Distributed Control System). Hydrocarbon dew pointing consists of turbo-expander and JT valve. Wellhead offshore platform is an unmanned platform consists of production header, test-separator, HPU unit, MEG injection unit, Diesel generators and Pig-launcher. From Onshore activities of Offshore Platform are controlled by via telemetry system.
Production Supervisor July 2006 to Present
Supervises, monitors and coordinates the operation of offshore and onshore production facilities to ensure safe and efficient operation and ensure plant availability, production targets are met in terms of quality and quantity. Coordinates the routine/planned maintenance activities, including issuing work permits for maintenance jobs, shutting-down/starting-up additional equipment, to ensure that the offshore and onshore plant's operations are not interrupted.
Main Duties & Responsibilities:
Supervision:
* Directs and supervises the activities of assigned personnel involved in operating the production facilities.
Operations Activities:
* Supervise and Monitor through the DCS facilities the operation of offshore well heads and onshore gas processing plants to meet the quality and nomination.
* Supervise the preparation of oil and gas equipment for routine, break down and planned maintenance activities as per established procedures.
* Trouble-shoot operation problems and report emergencies to Management Team with proposed solutions
* Evaluate daily equipment performance, prepare production reports and recommend to Management for improvement.
* Responsible for the overall performance of the production team.
* Play a key role in the Production team competency development programme.
Work Control:
* Supervise and personally participate in preparing the plant/equipment for maintenance work.
* Issues hot, cold and entry work permits and isolation Confirmation certificates for all routine planned and break down maintenance work.
* Supervise and personally participate in re-commissioning of the plant to ensure safe and efficient.
* Monitor and evaluates the reliability of plant equipment and plant performance.
* Ensure appropriate implementation of the developed operations procedures for all plant operation and maintenance activities and ensure regular evaluation and update of procedures for optimization and safe operation.
* Ensure availability of chemicals stocks including review of chemicals inventories, maintaining adequate stock and issuing material requisitions.
* Maintain and control the department budget.
HSE:
* Ensure team members are fully aware and adhere to The Company's HSE programme, procedures, standards and systems.
* Conduct risk assessments, toolbox meetings and prepare/ review special procedures for non-routine operations and maintenance activities.

Accomplishments:
* January 2007 stepped up to cover the responsibilities of Offshore Team Leader position to kick off the Well intervention programme. Responsible to issue offshore PTW during the programme. Involved in HAZID, preparation of SIMOPS document and Risk assessment for the programme.
* November 2006 Responsible to issue offshore platform PTW during the construction of extended Production and Test manifold to tie-in additional wells to system. Involved in maximizing the gas production during the manifold extension construction.
* Introduce formal reporting system for production team members to monitor and improvement of team activities.
Production Shift Supervisor April 2005 to June 2006
To supervise all production related activities and resources to safely achieve production targets while on shift, in accordance with the instructions of Production supervisor.
Coordinate the routine/planned maintenance activities, including issuing work permits for maintenance jobs, shutting-down/starting-up additional equipment, to ensure that the onshore plant operations are not interrupted.
Main responsibilities:
* Comply with own responsibilities within the Sangu HS&E policy. Ensuring the safe and environmentally acceptable operation of all plant and equipment onshore.

* Attain as a nightshift OTL (offshore tem leader) to support SIMOPS during new wells drilling. (Rig- Ocean Sovereign at December 2004-February 2005). Involved commissioning of new wells.
* November 2004 Carry out the Shutdown activities. Involved to write shutdown procedure, isolation procedure and planed to complete all activities with in time frame.
* Attain as a deputy of OTL (offshore tem leader) during Re-perforation campaign (September-October 2004).
* Supervising visits to the offshore facility for routine maintenance as required by the Production Supervisor and deputizing Production supervisor as required.

* Monitor and control the flow of hydrocarbons from the reservoir to the point of export through DCS.
* Maintain operating parameters within safety, regulatory, and GPSA requirements and troubleshoot upset conditions
* Collate all data appertaining to and produce Daily, Emission & Monthly Production reports.

Chittagong Chemical Complex having main products of liquid chlorine, concentrated caustic and solid caustic by-products hydrochloric acid, bleaching powder. Caustic-Chlorine Plant consists of brine preparation section to feed to the cell. Cells carried out electrolysis where cathode and anode separated by Ion-exchange membrane. Ion exchange membrane process most modern technology rather than the mercury cell process. Brine section consists of salt dissolve by recycled brine, brine clarification, filtration and removal of cat-ion. Water treatment plant for production of cooling water and demineralised water by demineralised unit. Chlorine section consists of chlorine liquefication, hydrochloric acid and bleaching powder production. Outlet caustic from cell concentrated by concentration unit consists of two-stage falling film evaporator.
