PROFILE:

* Working with Distributed Computer Systems (DCS), Programmable Logic Controls (PLC), Office Computer Operations – MAXIMO Work Orders, TOWCS( Wonder-ware, Honeywell).

* Experienced in Commissioning, Start-up, Shut-down, Emergency shut down system(ESD), Plant shut down system (PSD), Emergency and Safety procedures.

* Experience in controlling and monitoring of, 2 Phase & 3 Phase, Production and Test separators, Filters, Driers, Hot oil heater, electrostatic treaters (Desalters), Slop oil system, knock out drums, surge vessel, tank farming, waste water treatment (Wash water & Produced water), crude transferring system and shipping.

* Start-up, controlling and monitoring of air compressors, pumps (Centrifugal, Reciprocal &Pneumatic), Stand-by Generators.

* Experience in depressurizing high-pressure vessels and equipments, Pigging operations (Pig launching and receiving).

* Stabilizing the Crude in Stabilizer Column, Crude oil heating, Removing the Lighter Ends, Testing and Maintaining the Reid Vapor Pressure (RVP) to 10.5psi.

* Process gas drying with Triethline Glycol, Glycol dehydration( Bubble Cap/ Packed-structured ) & Regeneration system.

* Compressing the associated gas and gas dehydration using TEG and recovering NGL (Natural Gasoline Liquid) by using Propane refrigeration system.

WELL HEAD OPERATIONS:

* Inspection and operations of Christmas tree and flow line check-up for leaks.
* Changing / Adjusting of choke to regulate flow and give back pressure to reservoir.
* Well activation of self flowing wells and Annulus pressure bleeding operation.
* Optimization of Gas Lift / Gas Injection wells and well head panel operation.
* Well equalization in case SSSV unable to open due to high shut-in pressure and resetting of SSV.
* Pig Launching and Pig Receiving operations.
* Wellhead readings, adjusting chemical rate( Methanol, Demulsifiers, Scale inhibitors, Bio-cide, Oxygen Scavenger) and maintenance of equipment's at wellheads.
* Testing wells to keep a track on its performance.

HEAVY CRUDE TREATMENT:

CRUDE TYPE: Blend 4
API Gravity: 28
Pour Point: 42 degrees Celsius
PRODUCTION: 80,000 BPD

* Routine checks involves heat tracing, maintaining pressure, temperature, flow and regular checking of sample points in the surge vessels and EDH(electrostatic de-hydrators).
* Pre-heating the crude in the crude-crude exchanger and maintaining a temperature of 88 degrees Celsius in the hot oil heat exchangers before it is processed into the EDH.
* Diversion of emulsion pad from EDH to slop oil tank.
* Off-spec treating in case of emergency / plant trip.
* Utility equipments – Tank farming, Transfer pumps, booster pumps, yo yo pumps(screw pumps), chemical injection (demulsifiers, scale inhibitors, corrosion inhibitors, pour point depressant).
* Critical Process – To maintain the temperature for the over-all hot oil treatment in the plant.
* Performing weekly/monthly checks on control valves, instruments, Fire water pumps, emergency generators.
* Custody Transfer Metering (CTM) and Meter Proving.

Principle Responsibilities:
T0 ensure safe, efficient and effective monitoring, operation and assigned maintenance of all the equipment and smooth functioning of the plant..

Accountabilities:

a) Crude oil separation, tank farm operations, oil movement and metering. Read PID's/drawings and understand from them the various operational implications and limitations of equipment.
b) Prepare equipment for maintenance (isolation).To Lead and perform Pigging Operations(receiving & launching). To monitor and note down readings of all wells, equipments and safety system status periodically and to notify any malfunctions and trouble-shoot them.
c) Commissioning, Start-up, Shut down, OSDV, ESD, PSD and Emergency and Safety procedures. Operate wells and production facilities and utility systems, rectify process disturbances, start and stop production facilities and utility equipment.
d) Assist in the analysis and solution of operational problems. To Carry out and assist in carrying out integrity in performing well tests.
e) Inform and advise lead production operator/ Supervisor about all relevant activities, problems relating to operations, process conditions, instrument control, and safety system as soon as they occur, or after taking initial corrective action.
f) Carries out regular patrols of the plant and field to observe operation of equipment and machineries, generators, valves, pumps, compressors, shipping pumps and records any abnormalities, such as leaks, high temperature and abnormal noise.
g) To issue Safe Work Permits and direct maintenance crews, ensuring their work will be accomplished safely and with minimum disruption to Plant production h) Manage Roustabout Crew members and assign to perform activities in the plant. Carry out routine checks on production and utility facilities, HES, PTW, Housekeeping.
i) To provide assistance to trainees and junior operators.
j) Report risks and incidents and initiate first response actions to reduce further escalation k) Execute the starting up and shutting down of process and equipment. Handle trip situations and emergency situations in a safe and efficient manner.
l) By the end of the shift, Activity Reports, Production figures are submitted to the Sr. Lead Operator / Supervisor.
