Industrial Experiences

Total of 20 years - all in 'Oil & Gas HC' industry.

At present working in an On Shore Production Satellite Field of about 100,000 Bbls / Day Production with integrated gas & water injection facilities, feeding the main facilities with the capacity of 500,000 Bbls / Day.

This integrated Oil field consists of:
* 65 Nos Single & Dual String producer wells;
* Two numbers of reciprocating gas re-injection compressors of 18 MMscfd / each capacity with glycol dehydration system.
* The water injection facility consists of five water Injection clusters supplying injection water to about 40 nos. Of injection wells at the required pressures with Electrical submersible pumps.

Worked in the LNG plant ( process operations ) of M/S Adgas, Das island, Abu Dhabi, U.A.E. ( Sr. Operator - acting) from December 1988 to February 1996.
This off - shore LNG plant consists of three trains of LNG Plants - two trains of 185 T / Hr. & one train of 360 T / Hr. Capacity each having:
* Atmospheric gas compressors of 6000 HP. x 2 nos.
* Feed gas compressors of 16000 HP x 2 nos.
* Acid gas removal & alkaline solution regeneration plant
* Feed gas drying by regenerative molecular sieve beds,
* Lighter ends fractionation & separation
* Propane & MCR refrigeration compressors of 32000 HP x 2 nos & 40000 HP x 2 nos and
* Sulfur recovery from acid gas ( H2S) plant x 2 nos of 50 T/ Day capacity.
Total gas being handled: 1200 MMSCFD.

Worked as a production foreman in-charge of the main gathering & separation plant of M/S Dubai petroleum Company, Dubai, U.A.E from March 1985 to September 1988.
* This off-shore production facility of 400000 bbls / day with a battery of high & low pressure separators with huge (1.05 MM bls / day capacity) off - shore separators,
* Pig launchers & receivers & fuel gas system.
* Equipped With tanker loading pumps & associated meter provers.

Work Activities General:
Having an excellent working knowledge of Honey well's TDC - 3000 & Foxboro's TDC - 2000 control systems with DCS touch stations & key board / mouse operated stations.

Well head operation / well testing & pigging operations;
Gas & water injection system with gas compression - after Coolers / exchangers; Reda submersible & Surface pumps For water injection facility.

Worked in various types gas turbines - Rolls-Royce, Dresser-Clark, Cooper - Bessemer, Orenda, Natco & Solar
Operated centrifugal compressors ( of 32000 h.p.),

Large off-shore separators with associated fuel gas and flare system. Platform / facility gas & smoke detectors; UV / IR fire
Detectors; fusible loops; fire water sprinklers & main / jockey pumps operation; ESD systems etc;

Previous jobs included:
Monitoring & controlling the shift operations of the assigned platforms / facility as senior operator / field operator - instructing & guiding the sub – ordinates;

Identifying the defective equipments / instruments trouble shooting with the help of Elec / Mech / Insts.

Preparing work orders, following permit to work procedures - tool box talk etc;

Arranging samples & recording the lab results & adjusting Chemical injn. to meet the product specifications.

House keeping, regular inspection of safety showers, eye wash fountains, fire extinguishers, CABA air packs and other safety equipments provided in the plant.
Well versed and trained in the plant fire fighting techniques and first aid procedures.
