-Gas plant process experience with amine sweetening and sulphur, NGL, LPG recovery.
-Involved in construction and maintenance projects, including supervision of compressor engine replacement (critical lifts involved; as many as 10-12 onsite workers).
-All safety certification.

WORK EXPERIENCE
Aug. 2007-Present, Canadian Natural Resources, Fort McMurray, AB.
Process Technician
-Operator in Primary Upgrading/Sulphur Recovery.
-Project is multi-billion dollar oilsands strip mine upgrader.
-Currently in construction phase around 80% complete.
-Fly-in camp on 7&7 rotation.
-Weekly involvement with project engineering and operations for progression monitoring in both Primary Upgrading and Sulphur Recovery.
-Pre-commissioning responsibilities include witnessing vessel closures, piping boroscopes, equipment run-up.
-Preliminary walkdowns on all systems for line, instrumentation, and equipment identification, process interaction, and overall familiarity with system operation.
-Witnessing and approving final closures on vessels, flushing and cleaning pipelines, energizing equipment for commission and start-up.
-Procedure writing and review for Sulphur Recovery Unit, including standard equipment operating, system start-up and shut-down, utility failures.
-Deficiency identification of operability of equipment and systems, accuracy of PID's & PFD's.
-Interview involvement: one on one site tours with feedback and recommendation to management.
