1. PROFESSIONAL OBJECTIVE

2. EMPLOYMENT HISTORY

Since 2002 I have been working in Petrolera Ameriven ($4.2 Billion) (Strategy Alliance between ChevronTexaco, Conoco– Philips and PDVSA). The project consisted of four mayor component: Upstream Production Facilities in the Hamaca Oil Field (200 kilometer south of the Caribbean Coast), Pipeline to convey the heavy oil to the Upgrader (210 Km), Pipeline to convey diluent to the Hamaca Oil Field: and the Upgrader Facilities in Jose Venezuela. I have occupied several assignations through the span life of the project in Downstream, including EPC contracts in HYDROTREATERS/ CRUDE / CRACKERS, COKER / PIPING FABRICATION and INDUSTRIAL SERVICES.

2.1.1. CRUDE / COKER SUPERINTENDENT. Promoted internally to lead the following operational areas: Crude Movement and tanks, Crude primary conversion, Coker deep conversion and gas plant. All these areas correspond 70% of the all process units of Upgrader facilities. As part of my responsibilities, I am in charge of leads all operations issues including, finance control, capital projects implementation, operational strategy. Before that position I was in charge as Shift Superintendent to lead the overall Upgrader operation during shift. Within my responsibilities are: execute the operational and maintenance plan during the shift including the administration and use of all personnel on duty and resources as well. As part of my responsibilities I acted to leads all operations, emergency response including maintenance and operation meetings, in order to assure that all 36 process units running according the production plan. 2.1.2. SPECIAL PROJECT SUPERINTENDENT. Reporting to Special Project Manager I was promoted to lead the all necessary engineering, procurement and constructability for all improvement, modification and projects out of the original scope of the EPC contractor in order to reach the necessary reliability to complete the Upgrader Performance Test and Lender Reliability Test (LRT) including the first Turnaround. Responsible for the annual business plan of Special project division (CAPEX Project) including the insurance of proper estimation, risk analysis and execution of all projects under the division to be executed. Also I was responsible to smooth transfer of this Management into the permanent organization. During the execution of this CAPEX project I was responsible to maintain Close co-operation and liaison with the Operation and line Managers to ensure the smooth operation of the business and the achievement of operational targets.. 2.1.3. UPGRADER START UP SUPERINTENDENT. Reporting to the Startup Manager, I was in charge of the complete startup coordination and liaison between the construction contractor and the Operation Upgrader Team. Within my responsibilities were: Preparation and implementation of the Upgrader commissioning and Start Up Plan, Final Walkdows acceptance coordination, Operability review of the systems and process units within the Upgrader including all Process Units (DCU, CU, SU, HYD, HYDU and Utilities) to proceed with the whole commissioning and start Up. We implemented a program called "100 step for Success" which were based in our Start Up Master Plan, as result we reached the most success Start Up within the Upgraders around the world. July –Dec 2004

2.1.4. GENERAL OPERATION SUPERVISOR. Assigned internally to lead the commissioning and Start Up of the firsts units into the Upgrader. Within my responsibilities included: Organize the commissioning team and on shift personnel to proceed with the start up process, carry out the process units to RFO (Ready for Operation) condition. Awarded with Excellent Award 2003 by Petrolera Ameriven. Jan-> July 2004.

2.1.5. GENERAL CONSTRUCTION SUPERINTENDENT. Reporting to the Construction Manager Manager, I was in charge of the complete civil works, equipment erection, mechanical completation, pre-commissioning and initial start-Up of the first process unit related to Utilities. Jan 2003 ->Dec 2004.

2.1.6. PLANT ENGINEERING SUPERVISOR. Plant Engineering Sup. in charge of provide engineering, project management and quality assurance services to all organizations within Petrolera Ameriven's Upgrader Complex, to execute all require modifications, alterations, and expansions to ensure optimum and safest operability & maintainability of its units during their entire life cycle. Later on I was designed as GENERAL CONSTRUCTION SUPERINTENDENT during Construction phase in order to assuring an appropriate Turn over Plant. 2002 -> 2003

2.2. LEADER PROJECT ENGINEER. In charge of the execution of the Orinoco Iron Project Orinoco Iron Project (the first successful multi-billion Venezuelan high technology project exported overseas) (Joint Venture between BHP/ Sivensa) As a leader project I was in charge of the Project coordination, project control and the Main Erection Contract, their commissiong and Start up. The whole project included the construction of 2.2 million t/y HBI plant with all necessary infrastructure including mayor Gas Process Facilities like: Reducing Gas furnaces, Cathalic Reformer, Flares, LoCat Units, CO2 removal, compressors units, etc as well as port and rail facilities, and had a cost of approximately USA $900.0 million.. PROJECT ENGINEER. In charge of petroleum projects from the phase of preliminary acceptance to final delivery. That activity included: materials request, control and selection of outfitters, basic and detail engineering, shop drawings, fabrication and Handover to final client under diverse National and International construction norm (ASME, ASTM, ANSI API, PDVSA) etc. Technical Coordination in the manufacturing of metallic structures, petrol equipment, process pipes, spools, pressure vessel and oil storage tanks.

I was assigned to overseas project "3.3 Pellets Plant " in Venezuela as Project Coordinator for the electromechanical erection as well as the coordination for pre-start stage (which included hydro and pneumatic piping test), test circuits, loops checks, P&ID Mark-up for sequential PreStart –Up, Pre-Commissioning, Commissioning and Start Up. Eduardo possess an unusual combination of deep knowledge of refinery process, engineering development and construction expertise displayed along their professional career. He is a dynamic, talented; self motivate who possess strong interpersonal and organizational skill a strong work ethic, and the ability to contribute effectively in a dynamic team environment. He has experience as Plant and Project engineer in the direct coordination of the execution of the work during start-up, commissioning and operation stage, control of contracts, administration and elaboration of engineering. This activities were developed at complexes projects for the petroleum and petrochemical industries like PETROLERA AMERIVEN (Chevron-Texaco, Conoco-Philips and PDVSA), MARAVEN, CORPOVEN, PEQUIVEN, BHP and Kobelco subsidiary of MARUBENI Energy Div. using diverse technologies and processes such as Petroleum Refining process (Crude Upgrader technology, Distillation, Cracking, Alkylation, Residual Hydrocracking, Catalytic Distillation, Hydrodesulfurization and Catalytic reforming), Petroleum storage, pumps stations, as well as Iron technology Reduction (FINMET and MIDREX) and steel construction techniques. In all these projects included activities of design, Front of Loading Engineering, pursuit of fabrication, management of projects under diverse norms and standards likes as ASME, API, JAL, as well as National Petroleum Norms (PDVSA) and GEMS (Texaco), etc. Also Eduardo has coordinated and directed the fabrication, engineering development, installation of steel structures, pressure vessels, cathalythic distillation towers, oil storage tanks, pipes support, pipe rack and spools and also he has lead the commissioning, start-up and operation of Petrochemical Plant successfully. Eduardo has demonstrated a singular ability to energize and track a record of results and capability to give solution to problems; likewise he has an effective oral and written communication abilities, as well as team/project leadership. Eduardo has carried out diverse technical visits on site (Nationals engineer companies like: OTEPI, INELECTRA, JANTESA, ASINCRO, etc) and offsite (Germany, Austria with VAI and Australia with BHP), also Eduardo had directed sub-contractors such as: HITACHI PLANTS, DANIEL FLUOR, ATLAS COPCO, DRESSER RAND, INGERSOLL RAND, COMAIR, BARSANTI, RODELCA, MONTIVEN, FAPCO,, TDA, KAUKENES, SVECA SADE, URIMAN etc. Which were successful culminated what demonstrates his very successful organizational skills.

Eduardo have acquired managerial experience with Japanese management group in the control and management of Petrochemical projects.
