2003-2005:
ƒæ Teaching undergraduate students at university of hydrocarbon and chemistry (www.umbb.dz). The main courses I have taught at the university are:
„Ï General drilling (cementing, casing set, mud preparation, surface and downhole equipments, drilling pipe calculation).
„Ï Horizontal and underbalanced drilling
„Ï Mud loss, pipe sticking, and fishing
„Ï Well control and kick preventions
„Ï Attending and supervision drilling operations with ENTP Company for 4 months.
ƒæ Working for Sonatrach Company on Gassi field reservoir models. I had done simulation study of reservoir model built with more than 40 PVT tables, and 120 layers. My work topic was "Optimization of the sidetracking horizontal wells length, layer, and azimuth".

2005 - Present: Reservoir Engineer, but working on production and petroleum engineering as well.

Working for the Groupment SONATRACH-AGIP in one side on onshore field of heavy and light oil reservoirs. In the other side Sonatrach-AGIP-BHP companies.

My main tasks as RESERVOIR ENGINEER:

„Ï Working on simulation models using ECLIPSE, Including Eclipse, Office, Flowgrid, Flowviz, Schedule modules. While I worked a little on VIP.
„Ï Matching simulation models, including PLT and RFT data, by implementing the different techniques and processes on PVT, geological data, relative perms(scale),¡K
„Ï Preparing and analysing the forecasts and different development scenarios under good and suitable reservoir management.
„Ï Analyzing the voidage displacement efficiency and ratio, and comparing the different enhanced and /or secondary recovery efficiencies, including water and gas flooding.
„Ï Analyzing reservoir problems like asphetene and salt deposition in production and injection wells, and recommending the suitable technique and actions to be done to deal with a situation with evaluating the risk to be taken.
„Ï Reviewing and preparing PVT, Scale, VLP tables and wells data included to reservoir models which have to be matched in many cases and improved.
„Ï Oil reserve estimation and decline curve using statistics, volumetric and MBAL analyses using MBAL software.
„Ï Analyzing and screening the production data and different tests data to ensure good reservoir data with accurate data acquisition.

AS RESERVOIR ENGINEER working on production I have been:

„Ï Preparing the programs for the different welltesting (Buildup and falloff), Multirate tests, (production and injection wells) and advising the production engineers at the field.
„Ï Doing the interpretation for the different welltesting done on the field using Interpret2006 and Saphir (Kappa) softwares.
„Ï Preparing actions and recommendations based on welltesting results (taking into account model data, well performance, PLT data, log data, static and dynamic data,. .)
„Ï Preparing programs for PLT, MPLT, limit tests, interference tests, Multirates tests (using VX or separator),static and dynamic surveys(wireline or sickline)
„Ï Building and updating the well performance curves using excel sheets and Prosper software.
„Ï Building and updating decline curve analyses for each wells based on daily and monthly production.
„Ï Preparing the well data for artificial lift pump installation, and reviewing the different operations to be done on wellsite(coildtubing, acidizing, fracturing, reformat injection...).
„Ï PLT Interpretation using Excel sheet, and limited experience on Emeraude.

AS RESERVOIR ENGINEER working on petroleum engineering on wellsite I have been:
„Ï Supervising welltesting operations using VX or separator for production and injection wells,
„Ï Supervising coildtubing operations during cleanup, acidizing jobs, salt removal from tubing, well lifting,
„Ï Supervising cleanup operations and estimating well performance based on that,
„Ï Supervising mutirates tests using VX, and separator
„Ï Supervising wireline and slickline operations to record static and dynamic survey, string control, PLT, MPLT, gauge setting with and without SRO (surface readout), BP setting, cement plug setting, and perforations.
„Ï Assisting stimulation jobs, fracturing and acidizing.
