Type of Plant: SYNGAS. The process for the production of OXO-gas and Hydrogen is based on Steam and CO2 reforming of natural gas. Consists of the following operation: desulfurization (Comox Catalyst Extrudates), pre-reforming and steam reforming ( ZnO catalyst-spheres in pre-reformer for removal of sulfur compounds and tablets in reformer for conversion of hydrocarbon to CH4 rich gas), Heat Recovery, CO2 Removal-Amine System ( MDEA) BASF Technology, Cryogenic Separation into H2, Raw OXO-gas and CO in COLD BOX (Air Liquid license), compression of the products and steam generation. For COLD BOX Unit, water and CO2 removal made in fixed bed absorbers-alumina and molecular sieves.Also contains a Washing Column with CH4, Stripping Column, CO/CH4 Separation Column and a Turboexpander used to provide frigorific power to COLD BOX. Compressors actuated by Steam Turbine-Ebara.
System used in CCR-Emerson.
Commissioning and Start-up activities like: blowing, flushing the lines, cathalist loading, loop-checks, test runs for rotating equipments (pumps and compressors).

Gases comprimation made with compressors Nuovo Pignone and one Booster Gas Lift Compressor (a compressor in two stages actuated by a Gas Turbine).
System used in CCR-Yokogawa Centum 3000, witch consisted of; DCS, Fire and Gas System, ESD and PSD Diagrams.
Transfered from JGC to Organisation Ourhoud following successful handover of the project to operate the 300,000B/D Crude Separation Plant.
