General Job Description: Basic Function and Scope:

Formulates detailed activities plans for Production Department to incorporate and determine the short and long term forecast of crude production from the fields. Monitors and analyzes the daily production performance and develops and recommends action plans to any change in the approved original plan.

Main Duties:
Prepares detailed activities plans for the fields and generates the overall Production Department activity plan. Includes preparing detailed daily and monthly crude production plan for every field and incorporating the crude oil deferred as a result of activities requiring shutdown of wells.

Develops a monthly, quarterly and yearly production forecast based on the detailed plan. Includes preparing the current monthly production plan Mt. 1 and Mt. 2 by field and submitting to Finance and Accounts Department and downstream to calculate the crude according to entitlement and crude lifting program.

Monitors the daily production performance and reviews performance against approved plan. Recommends changes to the plan in the event of any change in priority of activities execution.

Carries out quarterly review of the production performance and generates a management report for Section Head Production Planning.

Holds regular discussions with downstream crude oil programming section to ensure that plans are updated to meet latest downstream requirement.

Establishes short and medium term crude oil availability forecast and leads discussions with downstream/pipeline on annual and quarterly production allowable. Submits production figures to Finance and Accounts Department and Downstream/Pipeline, the nomination of Firm Daily Quality and Additional Daily Quality, firm figures for the forecast quarters and tentative figures for the following quarters. Coordinates and controls oil production within the constraints.

Establishes downtime/different database and develops specific measurement standards for Division's performance analysis, conducts integrated operations study and reviews production optimization efforts to identify improvement opportunities.

General Job Description: Supervises the timely and accurate of all crude, gas and water samples in the assigned production field and advises production operation on chemical usage based on accurate analysis of crude and water characteristics. Provide analytical services and consultation to Exploration and Drilling department and Pipeline operation. Perform Testing procedure (Laboratory, Field, Pipeline and Process).
Work with trainees to ensure they are using the proper procedures and techniques.
Provide assistant to supervisors as required and work under non-supervised condition.
Keep daily records of the all testing and results.
Laboratory safety is a requisite.
Main Duties:
* Supervises the activities of assigned personnel in the laboratory.
* Carries out a range of process testing and analysis aimed at ensuring accurate results of all critical samples.
* Provide advice to Production Operations regarding accurate chemical dosage to be used in the process. Includes assisting corrosion group in their analysis and advising them on chemical usage.
* Prepare crude blends and simulated parameters to analuze characteristics.
* Ensure that all activities in the laboratory are carried out in accordance with the Company`s safety pollicies and procedures. Ensures that all safety rules and regulations are fully explained to Company employees including the safe handling and use of chemicals and disposal of water product, that appropriate safety and protective equipment is ordered and stocked in the work unit, that safety notices are prominently displayed in all work areas, and that all accidents and incidents are efficiently investigated and analyzed, including implementation of measures to avoid a recurrence.
* Controls the stocking and reordering of all laboratory supplies and chemicals, ensuring the correct safety and handling of chemicals.
* Carries out other similar or related duties including carrying out laboratory development work to improve the services provided, ensuring that standardization and calibration tests are carried out regulary, providing input to the preparation of laboratory procedures, and assisting in the training of staff, sits in for Laboratory Supervisor during absence, etc.

Extra Duties:
1- Carry out routine crude oil analysis.
2- Carry out analysis of solids to identify & quantify FeS, CaCO3, Iron oxide, and heavy hydrocarbons.
3- Carry out analysis of produced water for oil in water.
4- Understands & applies the S.T.P of ASTM & APHA.
5- Carry out routine tests for pH, bacteria, chlorine, specific gravity, conductivity, TDS, alkalinity, sulfate, calcium, and hardness in potable water. Record data.
6- Carry out routine analysis of lube oil samples for viscosity, TBN sediment etc.
7- Carry out routine tests on crude oil & diesel samples by GC.
8- Carry out analysis of oil & water for density, using density meter.
9- Participate in non ¡V routine studies e.g. Praffin/asphaltene, spot test, cold finger test, pour point, chemical tracer studies etc.
10- Continuation of chemicals, which uses in oil field like PPD "pour point depressant", and Demulisifier.
11- Make full analysis for chemicals when it received to laboratory, and compare them.
12- Review and constructively criticize current laboratory methods and procedures and recommend improvements in these.
13- Ensure that Q.C and Q.A programs at the CPF and at the Terminal are strictly maintained.
14- Run laboratory Quality Assurance tests, report results of it and investigate and correct any discrepancies resulting from such tests.
15- Monitor laboratory consumable stocks and re-order supplies when necessary.
16- Recommend purchase of laboratory equipment for use in routine and non-routine analysis, and standardized all tests equipment in accordance with manufacture recommendation.
17- Compare results of different method and recommend changes in procedures.
18- Review equipment performance to ASTM and API.
