Indian Oil Corporation Ltd. is a central government under taking company. It is a large petrochemical industry working for refining the crude oil. It is a leading manufacturer Of Motor spirit, Kerosene, Diesel, Bitumen, Aviation turbine Fuel, Naphtha, L.P.G, Oil, Super Kerosene, LDO, HSD, Benzene, Toluene which are mainly used as a fuel. They are raw materials for other petrochemical & fertilizer Industries. The company is very large & its division, terminals are located all over India. One of them is Gujarat Refinery & Pipelines Division, Baroda. This unit is refining crude oil &its Capacity is About 15 million metric tones per annum. It is commissioned in 1965.
Responsibilities:
* Field operation and D.C.S control room operation like different types of pump operation like sundine, centrifuge, multistage and other.
* Different type of Furnace operation like balance draft and natural drafts, maintain Burner operation.
* Maintaining crude quality like salt content, Maintaining Product quality like PH, copper corrosion, lead acetate and distillation conditions.
* Releasing equipment's for maintenance.
* Maintaining ISO, ISRS documents
* Duties involved collecting sample and checking its quality, maintaining all data, pump running observation and checking Oil-water, abnormal sound etc.

* Manufacture of ethylene oxide from ethylene and oxygen there is exothermic reaction and produce 32 kg stem and utilize plant and export to other plant.
* After EO production manufacture Mono Ethylene Glycol by Eo and H2o.

* I had worked as an Attendant Operator during apprenticeship training under the apprentice Act 1961.
* I had also got basic industrial training at Advance Training Institute, Sion, Mumbai-22. From 16-11-92 to 30-4-93, attended the practical & related instruction classes.
* As per the schedule of organization every apprentice will have to undergo training in different areas of organization to learn each & every thing related to every area.
