WORK EXPERIENCE:

Operations
- Drilling Superintendent of KCA Deutag Drilling GmbH Libya. Managing 1 drilling rig and 3 workover rigs.
- Drilling Superintendent of Rig T-80 with Encana Qatar during the mobilisation & start-up period. Operations support for Rig T-80 (KCA Deutag) contract with Encana in Oman & Qatar including procurement of equipment & services, mobilisation of equipment & personnel, startup inspections and subsequent operations management.
- Incharge for workover operations in offshore jack-up rigs (ONGCL). Hands on experience in planning and executing operations such as well kill; electric line operations e.g. perforation, tubing cut/punch, string shots, TCL/CCL/CBL, set plugs/cement retainers, logging etc.; fishing of drillstring, tubing, wireline; slickline; stimulation by coil tubing or bullheading by stimulation vessel or acid recipe preparation on rig; pumping; well clean out; cementing; gaslift valves and mandrels; completions (single and dual) with & without SCSSSV & SSV; testing of tubing hanger/wellhead; well activation and well integrity.
- Hands on experience in onshore Workover Rig shift operations of type U-36, T-50 and Cardwell in various positions starting with roughneck and finally as Driller (ONGCL). Handled all workover operations as described above, including rig up/commision and rig down/move 150 ton capacity workover rigs; artificial lift completions with beam pumps & electrical submersible pumps.
- Offshore exploratory well testing (conventional & Drill Stem Test) in jack-ups, floaters and semi-submersibles (ONGCL). Hands on experience with planning for & running test strings, operating 3-phase separators, choke manifolds & carrying out bean studies, burners and associated well testing equipment. Recording, interpreting data & reporting to base.
- Wireline Coordinator (PDO) for Slickline operations involving 8 wireline units, one international contractor, 40 staff and wireline workshop with activities such as redress, testing and storage of dowhole tools, calibration and maintenance of gaslift valves and Amerada gauges and data interpretation of EMR gauges. Plan and execute rig and rigless operations. Prepare equipment. Manage contract & staff. Coordinate with drilling rigs, production stations, programmers etc. Responsible for start-up of Halliburton contract.
- Stimulation Coordinator (PDO) for stimulation and coil tubing operations. Plan and execute all operations related to Stimulation, pumping, well kill & coil tubing jobs for North Oman. Manage contract & operations. Responsible for start-up of Dowell Schlumberger contract.
- Shift-in-Charge of onshore production station (ONGCL) with oil and gas collection, separation, storage and distribution system.
- In-charge of wellhead maintenance operations (PDO). Plan and execute well integrity operations. Manage staff.
- Support Engineer in offshore supply base (ONGCL). Redressing and testing of retrievable packers, bridge plugs and other completion/workover tools.
