Follow-up and examine the already existing cathodic protection system and optimizing the cathodic protection systems.

1-Inspection and evaluating the painted/coated surface facilities (pipe line, tanks "water and oil" production equipment, …….etc).
2-Follow-up all painting applications carried out by the contractors on the different facilities.
3-Perform the inspection on the paint qualification (Included visual & devise to define the dry film thickness and to perform the adhesion test) and choosing the suitable painting system also, controlling the paint consumption in G.O.S field (On-Shore & OffShore

2- one month in chloride egypt for batteries duites and training:
1-calibiration and analysis with atomic absorbtion technique.
2- measuring density of sulphoric acid during preparation.
3-check random batteries from the production line.
4- check the insulator properties.
5- test the final product to get the approval to get into market.

The factory is assembling cars mainly Citroen and Mitsubishi pick up.

Duties: I was working in the last stage of paint work shop called pre delivery inspection of paint which mean to give the customer or the stores the car with zero defect in paint because during the assembly of the car on trim line after painting it may have some defects which need to be repaired before delivery my section was responsible about inspection and repair this issue. I.e. make spot repair or make panel repair or polishing ext. And in some models I was responsible of painting of some plastic part of the car like mirrors, dumpers, door handles.

Company profile:
The company produces advanced decorative paints under Japanese license. It is the first factory of its kind in the Middle East and Africa with this technology in decoration and paint which is valid for indoor and outdoor purpose. It gives any substrate the texture of natural product
I.e. wooden pattern, marbles, leather
This pattern can apply to any substrate like plastikes, wood, glass ext.

Duties: the process in the factory contain six
Steps I am responsible about four of them.

First step: preparing the product that will be painted and fix it in the proper way to get the best results.

Second step: is painting the product with the primer and base coat with the desired color which after that will have the cubic printing and make sure that the layer of paint is adhere will to the product and has good appearance. This done by choosing suitable kind of primer or pre coat for the sample i.e every kind of substrate has deferent type of pre treatment which mean glass has treatment differ from plastic to accept paint even each kind of plastic has different kind of promoter to accept paint.
My main role here is to choose the best proper treatment for the substrate to achieve a good results and have zero defect in pre coating layer after making some tests on random samples. Third step: is what we called cubic printing step this is the mean step in the processes which transfer the pattern to the sample what ever it be glass,wood,plastics,metal. My main role in this stage is to adjust the machine and provide good condition to get maximum efficiency from the machine
As trained with the Japanese experts.

Fourth step: is the final step in this step we apply a clear top coat to the substrate as a protective layer this layer is mainly polyurethane varnish or acrylic varnish with different degree of glossiness high gloss or matt or semi matt.
My main role in this stage is to prepare the varnish with adjusted amount because it is usually two component and choose the proper kind of varnish which is suitable for indoor or outdoor and adjust the condition in the paint booth cabinet and heating oven to get maximum efficiency and minimizes the usual paint problems like dirt, pinholes, fish eye,poping,billing,.....ext. and after that run visual inspection on the products plus physical tests look like adhesion, curing, thikness,...ext before packing.

.this is beside the usual paper work which include weekly and monthly production reports that represent to high managers
And managing director to be discussed during our weekly meeting.
