Job Summary:
Responsible for the smooth, reliable and efficient operation of the Nitrogen gas Plant ( Air Separation Unit ), ensuring the production of high quality Nitrogen gas which is within the needs and specification of our customers. Contribute to the continuous improvement of the operation and further development of the equipments reliability. Maintain a safe working environment within the Plant in order to achieve zero accident.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Monitor and control the different parameters in the operation of a Nitrogen gas Plant (Air Separation Unit ) such as: pressure, temperature, speed, level and flow of fluids via DCS and PLC.
- Operate and maintained equipments such as: Main Air Compressors, Chillers, Cooling Towers, Molecular sieve, Expander, Vaporizer, Centrifugal pumps, PLC unit, DCS unit.
- Operate and maintain measuring instruments such as: Contrec flowmeter, Fox Oxygen analyzer, Teledyne Oxygen analyzer, Shaw Moisture analyzer, pH Meter, Panametrics moisture/dew point analyzer.
- Perform compilation of pertinent data related to the operation such as Processing Plant parameters, equipment history, incidents reports and operation highlights for future references and studies.
- Contribute and assist in the further development of the Nitrogen Gas plant operation as well as the improvement of the equipments' reliability for the purpose of avoiding shutdown and product losses.
- Conduct twice a month toolbox (safety) meetings, discussing safety flash of the month and other matters deterrent to plant safety and reliability concerns that requires action.
- Conduct Plant start-up checklist prior for Plant start-up and Plant shutdown checklist prior for Plant start-up and shutdown.
- Perform preventive maintenance, schedule individual plant equipment walk-by checklist including benchmarking and trending of parameters.
- Conduct moisture analysis of the Plant's end product (Nitrogen gas) using Shaw moisture analyzer and Oxygen analysis Teledyne Oxygen analyzer.

- Perform daily tank farm inventory, relaying all Vacuum Insulated Equipment (liquid Nitrogen tank) level to Logistic Department for delivery.
- Prepare purchase request slip for the Plant's spare parts, safety and operation requirements including customer action items..
- Prepare and Issue job hazard analysis, work permit and other pertinent work permits such as ( electrical permit, Hot work permit, calibration of relief valve permits) necessary prior for implementation of the project / maintenance work that is to be done.
- Inventory and Control of the Plant's maintenance tools and measuring instruments.
- Always ensure the fulfillment of the customer's exact requirements, provide them with high purity nitrogen gas and to always practice safe operation in accordance with all the work SOP's to have a reliable and efficient plant operation.

Job Summary:
In-charge for the continuous, reliable, efficient operation and maintenance of a 5.5 Megawatt output Mirrless Blackstone 12 KV Major MK III Diesel Engine, ensuring continuous stable supply of electric power to our main Air Separation Unit plant with a capacity 80 tons/day of cryogenic liquid. Effective transition of power to our back-up power ( MERALCO) in cases of power plant emergency shutdowns and during engine maintenance without power interruption. Contribute to the continuous improvement of the operation and maintenance of power plant within the specified budget.
- Conduct Plant pre-start-up control room checklist and Plant shutdown control room checklist prior for Plant start-up and plant shutdown of a Mirrless Blackstone 12 KV Major MK III Diesel Engine in coordination with auxiliary operator.
- Conduct excitation of generator and synchronized engine to back-up system(MERALCO) or vice versa until full load transfer is attained without power interruption.
- Logged, trend, analyzed and adjust engine parameters (pressures, temperature, etc) if necessary to optimized engine reliability and sustainability.
- Performed Plant daily reports such as daily fuel consumptions computations, fuel deliveries, electricity supplied and system losses.
- Conduct daily scheduled walk by in all power plant equipments (using raytek, vibrometer and SPM) in coordination of auxiliary operator.
- Performed engine performance test for analysis to determine individual engine cylinder combustion pressure.
- Conduct Turbo Charger( VTR 354-II ABB) washing both wet and dry to have efficient performance and extend its life between overhauls.
- Participate in root cause analysis, risk assessment, HAZOP and anomaly hunting during every shift.
- Quality inspector during major preventive maintenance ( 3000 running hours,6000 running hour,12000 running hour)
- Maintenance of engine incases of emergency shutdown and corrective maintenance.
- Conversion of all SOP's procedures to ISO2001 format and IMS format.
- Prepare spare part list to replenishment of inventory and spare parts needed prior for every upcoming major preventive maintenance.
- Practice safe operation in accordance with the work instructions to operate the plant effectively, within allowable plant budget and continuously mitigate hazard on the plant area.

Ensure the good quality of all fuels receive by means of distillation testing to have a good combustion and lubrication. - Operate and maintained auxiliary equipments within allowable operating limits like: Cooling Towers, (2) heavy fuel oil purifier, (1) lube oil purifier, Jacket water pump, cooling tower pump, Automatic moatti filters, Tank farms, Busrail system, Lube oil duplex filters. *
- Responsible of quality testing of LFO, LO and HFO deliveries by water distillation to assure good quality of the product prior for receiving and unloading.
- Assist in maintenance activities during plant shutdown and report any abnormalities in countered during shift to the control room operator or to the supervisor.
- Coordinate any abnormalities to the control room operator.
- Practice safe operation in accordance with the work instructions to operate the plant effectively and continuously mitigate hazard on the plant area.
