JOB RESPONCIBILITIES:
* Study of operational and emergency response procedures in assigned unit
(e.g. control and monitoring systems, alarm management, safe isolation, draining and cleaning) of equipments.
* Involve in pre-commissioning, commissioning and start up plan in assigned area.
* Make sure HSE awareness. i.e. ensure Permit to work compliance and appropriate job safety analysis
* Involve in Preventive and post maintenance plan and assess the operational resources required for its execution
* Constantly monitor plants operating conditions to ensure the quick resolution of abnormal operational situations. Assess root causes and remedial actions and involve the Shift Supervisor when necessary.
* Ensure that the Contractors execute the pre-commissioning activities in accordance with the approved method statements & procedures, approved commissioning specifications & company QHSE requirements.
* Performs other similar or related duties as and when assigned by the Shift Supervisor.
* Shutting down the plant through DCS and Field as per shutdown procedure.
* Preparing blind list as per equipment specific procedure and ensure it in field with the help of team of operators before issuing the work permits to related discipline.
* Confirm with electrical agency for drives lockout as per procedure.
* Flushing or purging activity monitoring, then ask laboratory people to take sample for checking of toxic or flammable material. Then take corrective action as per procedure.
* Involve in Loup and functional tests on instruments.
* Equipment involved heat exchangers, columns, fired heaters, compressors, and centrifugal and reciprocating pumps.
* To keep a record of all returned work permits.
* Filling of all start up checklist and ensuring in field/control panel before startup.
* Start up the plant equipment as per the standard operating procedure through control room and field.
* Control all parameter as per plant start up procedure.
* Report any abnormality to the DCS Operator/supervisor and take corrective action as per guidance.
* Maintaining all log sheets for data analysis purpose.
