Presently working as DCS&FIELD OPERATOR at PDH (Propane dehydrogenation ) complex of NATPET
(National petrochemical Industries) in Yanbu, Saudi Arabia.

PDH plant is a Propane dehydrogenation unit and essentially consist of following main units..
OLEFLEX¡K This is UOP moving bed catalyst process designed to selectively de-hydrogenate Paraffin's feed to corresponding mono-olefins.(Propane to Propylene) Design conversion is 34%.
NAHS UNIT H2S recovery
CCR (Continuous Catalyst Regeneration System)
Is UOP process for the continuous regeneration of the spent
Catalyst by burning coke in regeneration tower.
Cryogenic separation unit &compressor section
That mainly separates hydrogen from propane/propylene stream at extremely low
Temperature, -165C.
Feed Preparation and Fractionation unit mainly consist of distillation columns.
Two Auxiliary boilers high pressure steam boilers with 146 ton/hr steam production at 44 bar. Boilers are made by Babcock & Wilcox.
1999 to 04-07 Pak-Arab Refinery Ltd (PARCO).
Pak-Arab Refinery is the largest refinery in Pakistan was commissioned in October 2000. It has the capacity of 100,000BPSD and also equipped with DCS Centum CS.
I have worked as a Field/ Panel Operator at following units,
* Gas treating (Amine Treating & Sour water stripping unit) 9000nm3/hr. / 76m3/hr.
* Sulfur Recovery & TGT unit 115 ton/day.
* LPG Merox process& kero merox 4,500/20,000 bpsd.
1998 ¡V1999 FFC-Jordan Fertilizer Ltd, Bin Qasim Karachi.
* Worked as an operator in Ammonia Plant (capacity 1270Ton/day.).
* I was assigned on the following units during the period: Reforming and CO conversion sections, CO2 removal sections and Compressor section.
* Also hands on experience DCS panel Bailey Infi-90 based Distributed Control Systems.
1994 ¡V 1998 Pak-Arab Fertilizer (pvt) Ltd. Multan.
* Worked as a plant operator in Ammonia Plant (capacity: 960 MTD).
* Familiar with primary reformer, secondary reformer, de-sulfurizer, CO2 stripper, absorber, air compressor, synthesis gas compressor, ammonia compressor.
