* Graduated from high school in 1995 (Fillmore, Saskatchewan)
* Took first year apprentice for Agricultural Mechanics at Kelsey Institute in Saskatoon, Saskatchewan in 1995-96.
* Received 4th Class Power Engineering certificate in 2000 at Estevan (Sask.) College.
* Completed the 3rd Class Power Engineering examinations, and currently hold a Valid 3rd Class certificate.
* Have completed many safety courses, which include H2S Alive, WHMIS, Basic Fire Training, Confined Space, CPR/First Aid.

Work History

* Oil Drilling Rigs
October of 1996 to May of 2000. Worked throughout western Canada as a Motor Hand on various types of land based drilling rigs. Responsibilities included monitoring all mechanical equipment on the drilling rig and training new personnel.

* L.D. Allan Enterprises Creelman, Sask.
Worked for my Dad's trucking company, and on our family farm in my spare time my whole life doing mechanical maintenance, and equipment operating.

* CCRL Refineries Ltd. Regina, Sask.
November of 2000 to September 2007. Process Unit Operator. Trained and became fully qualified as a unit operator, as well as a DCS Operator in various processing units and associated equipment such as high pressure steam system and utilities. Process units included a Sulphur recovery plant, Hydrogen generation plant, Sour water plant, Hydrodesulphurisation plant, Crude and Vacuum plant, as well as in the finished products-blending department (tank farm facilities). I have been involved as a commissioning operator for new process units being built in plant when required. I have trained as an in plant fire fighter, and taken courses for H2S safety, confined space entry, first aid, and fall arrest, to name a few. I also train new operators in specific processing units, and work as a pipefitter when required during shut downs.

* Contract Senior Lead Operator Tanzania, Africa
September 2007 until April 2008. Employed as a Senior Lead Operator under contract to Artumas Group Inc in a newly built Natural gas Production plant. Main duties were as a Plant supervisor and trainer to the locally hired operators.
