Responsibilities/Nature of Work:

„« Smooth Startup, Efficient running, Monitoring and control, and safe shutdown of the units whenever required in both Natural Gas and Light Fuel oil

„« Operation of Gas Booster compressor including purging and sealing

„« Operation of Instrument Air/ process air Compressor and N2 plant.

„« Station battery banks & chargers operations.

„« Operation of 5200 KVA diesel generator.

„« Operation of Fire protection systems.

„« GT On line and Off line compressor blade washing

„« Fuel Changeover Operations according to the availability

„« Doing Logics/Interlocks testing like Primary Frequency influence test, Initial operation check and Performance Guarantee tests for GE Gas Turbine

„« Total Electrical system operations in Generator Transformers, Station transformers, unit Transformers, 11 KV and 380 V Switchboards with/without HSBTs, 400V Emergency Diesel Generators and 11 KV Black Start Diesel Generators.

„« Isolation and Normalization of the above said Gas Turbines and Electrical systems

„« Conversant with GE MARK-V & VI speedtronic control system for Gas turbine controls, monitoring and protection.
