OBJECTIVE
Seeking a challenging position as Instrument Quality Engineer/Inspector & Instrument Engineer and Commissioning Coordinator

QUALIFICATION
Over (15) fifteen years experience in the field of instrumentation inspection, engineering, construction, hook-up and commissioning of various kind of plant, exposure in oil & gas production and processing facilities, petrochemical plant, and control room installation, and common cooling water facilities.

In charge of field inspection thru final acceptance prior to Mechanical Completion Certificate (MCC) of instrument accordingly as per quality control inspection test plan and specification of instrument calibration and functional check of various type of instrument such as flow, pressure, and control valves, PRV, analytical instrument, process switches, receiving instrument, before laying and after lying and glanding termination. Verify instrument impulse line installation prior to blowing relay panel.

In charge of field modification, rectify design discrepancy of instrument with approve drawing consisting of instrument loop diagram medium and low voltage power supply, conduct vendor package equipment or skid I/E drawing review. To achieve and satisfy of DCS, ESD, fire and gas MCC, SCADA, Metering Skid, and Analyzer shelter of each above mentioned requirement.

Work Performed

Prepare daily inspection activities and document for final acceptance prior to project completion. Maintain close working relationship with the contractor personnel and with the customer representative. Identify quality problems with the contractor customer sanctions / approval through designed channel. Review plan and drawings in accordance with project specification, codes & standards, conduct activities & inspection in accordance to project quality assurance manual & quality control inspection plan. Inspection of field instrument shall be installed in accordance with individual project specification.

*Cable laying, tagging and dressing prior to backfilling of trench
*Instrument tiles installation prior to final backfilling of trench
*Cable meggering & continuity test prior to backfilling of trench
*Primary & secondary cable tray installation
*Mounting of junction box prior to glanding & termination
*Junction box inspection primary & secondary cable after termination
*Inspection of all field mounted instrument & valves installation
*Tubing installation & pressure testing
*Control room inspection
*MCT inspection prior to cable pulling from trench to Control Room
*Cable tray inspection inside the Control room
*Mounting of panel prior for termination of cable
*Meggering of cable after glanding & termination from junction box to panel
*Earthing inspection, plant earth, reference earth, clean earth from bus bar to panel prior to energization of panel
*Panel inspection after termination prior to energization of panel
*MCT installation
*In-charge of field inspection through final acceptance prior to mechanical completion certificate
*Supervision of loop checking activities in accordance with project specification & standard
*Review loop dossiers submitted by construction & confirm that all documentation included therein is acceptance & compliance with loop scoop
*Released of loop folder in accordance with project schedule
*All installation of activities shall be checked to confirm that location, mounting, accessibility, protection, maintenance provision & installation workmanship is in accordance with the requirement of the project specification, standards, and schedules & approved construction drawing.
*Perform punch listing on all installed instrument and monitor punch item units and its rectified
*Ensure that all installation are per approved hook-up and location drawing
*Identify quality problem and non-conforming item
