Performs administrative duties such as:

* annual performance appraisal of subordinates,
* prepares annual Capital Expense and Operational Expense budget proposals based on annual work program
* prepares purchase requisitions of materials needed for the implementation of well testing activities
* conducts technical evaluation of all requested materials needed for the implementation of well testing activities
* controls all manpower movements, such as annual leaves.

Supervises and ensures maintenance and safe utilization of hauling, lifting, and other industrial equipment (e.g. cementing unit utilized as quenching pump for quenching of geothermal wells, slickline and wireline units.)

Ensures proper maintenance and safe utilization of all service vehicles assigned to the well testing crews.

Monitors and controls all material and tool/equipment inventory required for all well testing activities including the initiation of requisitions for all required materials and tools/equipment.

Supervises all data gathering and its subsequent filing (both hard copy and computer encoded) for all data gathered during well testing activities.

Supervises all maintenance and calibration of all well testing tools and equipment including but not limited to:

* all surface gauges
* all subsurface tools (HTHP downhole measuring tools)
* slickline and wireline units
* calibrating baths and deadweight testers
* pipes, separators, portable silencers, spools, lubricators, etc., needed for all well testing activities

Supervises all fabrication jobs that are required "on site" in the conduct of all well testing activities such as well discharges, well quenching and well to well stimulation..

Supervises all fabrication jobs needed in the maintenance, repair and/or replacement of all well testing equipment such as spools, lubricators, slickline trailers, wireline units, portable silencers, portable separators.

Conducts trainings/lectures in the area of well testing as part of the company's program of training newly hired and newly transferred employees.

Ensures that all Health, Safety and Environmental Policies are strictly followed in the implementation of all well testing activities.

In cooperation with Well Services, Well Logging and Reservoir Engineering groups, conducts well stimulation using coiled tubing technology, gas lifting technology and air lifting technology.

In cooperation with Well Services, Reservoir Engineering and Well Engineering groups, conducts acidizing of wells with known blockages.

Evaluates the daily load requirement for purposes of preparing wells to be put on line or off line.

Coordinates with Maintenance, Well Testing, Geoscientific, Reservoir Engineering, Well Engineering (Drilling Operations), Civil Works and other sections as to these sections' activities in the steamfield.

Prepares and implements the Standard Operating Procedure of the Fluid Collection and Recovery System.

Prepares the Emergency Response Action Procedure of the Fluid Collection and Recovery System for the crew to be able to respond to any emergency.

In coordination with other groups such as Maintenance, Well Testing, Reservoir Engineering, Well Engineering and Geoscientific, plans and maps out strategies for the proper scheduling of power plant PMS so as to optimize the plant generation and steam production from the field. Recommends these strategies to higher management for final approval.

Ensures that adequate amount of steam is available and supplied to the power plant at all times to meet load requirements.

Ensures that all work in the field as well as in the control room, whether by Maintenance or Operations or any other entity, is fully covered by a Work Permit. Signs and approves work permits for as long as HSE requirements are met.

Ensures that for every defect found or discovered in the system, an appropriate Defect Card is issued to the appropriate group for proper action/remedy.

For any and all emergencies in the system, ensures that proper shutdown procedures are followed and the subsequent start up procedures are also followed closely.

Ensures proper utilization of all resources (both equipment and materials) and monitors and controls manpower assignments.

Prepares daily work schedule and supervises the implementation of the programmed and unprogrammed field preventive maintenance and repair activities of valves and other related pipeline equipment and accessories installed in the geothermal field.

Coordinates with the Maintenance, Drilling Operations, Geoscientific, Well Testing, Civil Works, Equipment and other sections regarding schedules, timetables and implementation details of field preventive maintenance and repair activities.

Ensure proper installation of wellhead equipment during well work over and drilling of new wells.

Conducts regular field inspection and prepares inspection report together with the recommendation for system improvement and modification or replacement.

Oversee the implementation of work activities done by the contractors.

Puts on line/off line production wells and/or reinjection wells as dictated by power plant requirements and under direct instructions from the Operations Shift Supervisor.
