* Under direction of Shift Manager, Co-ordinate and Manage all activity within the main control room (4 DCS Tech.) and Field (8 Field Tech.). * Liaise with the Shift Manager to effect any isolation /de-isolation of the system plant and with Engineering to undertake agreed work or testing of the plant and equipment.
* Responsible for all dispatch communication with National Grid Controller and co-ordinate and control the station response ensuring the target ramp rate, dispatch and reactive power requirements are achieved as far as possible whilst protecting the Jawa Power assets and interests
* Co-ordinate all High Voltage switching operation. In the event of a switchgear fault, record the behavior of all associated protection;
* Take proactive approach to safety management and actively participate in the Company safety procedure
* Having assignment as Daily Operation Coordinator:
o As a Liaise Engineer to coordinate the Maintenance planning inline with Operation daily activity, Conduct Daily Maintenance Activity Meeting.
o As Yearly Plant Outage Coordinator, Coordinate and planning the Major Outage activity.
o Responsible to Review Standard Operation Procedure and PTW Procedure.

* Operate a unit of Power plant from Main Control Room: Coal fired Steam generator (2000 t/h), Steam Turbine Generator (670 MW), Teleperm XP DCS and Symadin for Steam Turbine Control, 500 kV and 150 kV Station Transformer, Turbine Feedwater Pumps with Woodward Controller.
* Undertake electrical equipment inspection and fault finding, Record "protection operated" following switchgear fault condition
* Maintain a control room log and Responsible Identifying abnormalities and defects, raise Work Order through Maximo Software
* Together with the EPC contractor to perform activity on the Unit such as Plant Commissioning, Performance Test, Reliability Running Test and Net Dependable Capacity Test
* Having assignment as PERMIT FOR WORK Coordinator:
o As Senior Authorized Person to carry out the duty as defined in the PT. POWERGEN Jawa Timur Safety Role such as Permit Officer/Engineer to which the responsibility is related with Permit For Work (PFW);
o Have an experience to organized working permit and as Permit Coordinator during unit 5 and 6 outage at October ¡V November 2002
