dESCRIPSION
Ecogreen Oleochemicals is one of leading in international Oleochemicals industry. The main product such as: Fatty Alcohol (saturated and unsaturated), Glycerin and Olein.
The products serve application for raw material: Soap, Natural Detergent, Perfume, Cosmetic, Medicine, etc.
Ecogreen Oleochemicals development the new plant for fatty alcohol product, by use technology from Axsia Howmar Ltd, Kvaervner Process Technology and Davy Process Technology Ltd, United Kingdom. The other plant (old plant) use Lurgi Gmbh, Germany.
Our Plant use Methanol Reforming or Methanol Hydrogen Plant for produce high purity hydrogen for hydrogenation process in the Natural Detergen Alcohol Plant. The process split methanol and steam into a synthesis gas under the presence of Copper-Zinc base Catalyst.
The process typically takes plate at elevated pressure of up 47.5 bar and temperature between 290 – 330 deg C.
Although the process is a batch operation, continuous product and off gas flow are achieved by using multiple adsorbent operation in PSA unit.

I have been experience to follow began plant erection, Pre-commissioning and Commissioning until commercial running. Involved in Davy NDA Project, Pre-commissioning Fatty Acid Section and Methanol Reformer Hydrogen plant, include preparing the plant for start-up, such as vessel and column are cleaned, their dimension and capacities checked, compressor and pump are aligned and test run, control valve are calibrated, zeroed and stroked, piping flanges are tested for leaks at operating pressure, loop and stroke test all instrumentation, P&ID punch list.

Assist the project engineer in check a monitoring the contractor job during plant Erection, Pre-commissioning and Commissioning, to ensure plant in accordance with piping and instrumentation P&ID. Monitoring and record / inspection personnel mechanic to install assembly Equipment of column (demister, distributor, collector, chimney tray, structure and random packing)
Conduct: Water flushing, air blowing, steam flushing, shot blasting, pressure test, vacuum test.
Assist instrument personnel: loop test and simulation trip setting.
Pre-commissioning and commissioning activities to set up all condition and parameter for normal running.
Starting November, 2006 plant was successfully commissioning, guarantee run on product specifications and now plant status commercial running.

September 2007 until present:
DCS Operator/Back up Field Operator of Fatty Acid and Tank Farm Section of PT Ecogreen Oleochemicals Batam, Plant 2(Oleochemicals Manufacturing)
Responsibilities:
To ensure all control room activities running well, safe and efficient and gain the process parameters base on work instruction.

Job descriptions:
Performs start up and shut down process plant.
Operates, achieves and maintains optimal operating parameters. Oil hydrolysis, glycerin treatment and refining, fatty acids fractionation, and thermal oil burner.
Monitors information concerning process conditions, and solves problems/take corrective actions where necessary.
Compiles production shift report.
Communicates and co-ordinates with Tank farm Operators for all of tank farm activities, such as: transferring, nitrogen blanketing, sounding the levels of tanks and prepares the respective tanks for run down the products.
Co-ordinates with utility section for availability and continuity supply of steam, nitrogen, utility air, power, cooling water and service water, natural gas or diesel oil and other chemicals consumption for process.
Performs other job related duties as assigned.
Acting as shift supervisor if supervisor on duty out of plant area.
Duties and responsibilities:
To implement all field related activities in process plant, like:
oil pretreatment, oil hydrolysis by splitting column fatty acid fractionation and distillation, glycerin evaporation and refining, glycerin distillation and bleached, and thermal oil heater
Ensures the safe operation of the plant and equipment.
Ensures the availability of supporting chemicals.
Reports and responds for any abnormalities condition.
Ensures the work area and equipments are safe for maintenance activity before SWP issued.
Practices good housekeeping and controls the waste and disposal as per environment regulation standard.
Performs the assigned function as Fire Brigade and Emergency Response Team.

Duties and Responsibilities on this period (March 2006 – March 2007):

Assist the project engineers in checking a monitoring the contractor job during plant erection, to ensure plant in accordance with piping and instrumentation diagram (P&ID).
Monitors and records the contractor's job for: chemicals cleaning, mechanical cleaning, hydro test and pressure test.
Monitors and records mechanical personnel installs the assembly of column (splitting column, fractionation column, vacuum system package, flash column, refining column, structure and random packing)
Conducts of water flushing, air blowing, steam flushing, pressure test, vacuum test.
Assist instrumentation personnel for loop test and simulation trip setting.
Operates plant with "water run".
Pre-commissioning activities to set up all conditions and parameters for normal running according to standard operating procedures.
Starting April, 2007 plant was successfully commissioning, guarantee run on product specs and now plant status commercial running.

Duties and responsibilities as leader tank farm:
Functions as leader tank farm activities, such as:
Ensures all heating coils, pumps, agitators, level indicators, breather valves and other equipment in safe and normal operation.
Performs blending of products as specifications needed.
Supports tank farm operator for tanks sounding, nitrogen blanketing of product, loading product to vessels and iso-containers, drumming liquid products and bagging flake products. Also activities of unloading raw material, additive chemicals, diesel oil and LPG.
Ensures the availability all documents required as per loading/unloading procedures.
