16/06/2008 – Present Granite International (GSI), Central Europe

I am currently hired via GSI and utilised on various GE owned businesses, predominantly Aero. I am presently assigned to Installation & Commissioning on-site training of GE's LM6000 packages with the prospect of becoming a TA for GE installations worldwide. I previously spent 6 months in GE Energy service workshops based in Rheden, The Netherlands. Though relatively new to working with the internal components I gained knowledge and experience whilst applying my skills working on all aspects of their LM6000 Gas Turbines. From time to time I also assist GE Water Technologies on their mobile water treatment purification trailers as an Operations & Maintenance Technician. As an experienced tradesman and Gas Turbine operator, I am considered for contracts with GE Energy Rentals to further provide skilled labor on both Engine Maintenance Support, and Operations & Maintenance of their TM2500 Mobile Power Plant.

01/04/2008 – 10/05/2008 NRG Global, Pakistan

Working self employed I was utilised in planned maintenance of seven General Electric LM2500 Gas Generators. Having previous experience of the site and equipment on the original installation and the operations, I was approached to assist Aero representatives in carrying out removal of engine, top casing and blade changes, as well as hot sections and nozzle changes. In between maintenance periods I was also required as an Operations and Maintenance Technician to ease pressure from longer term site staff.

13/09/2007 – 31/03/2008 Granite International (GSI), Central Europe

I was recruited predominantly to work alongside GE Aero Derivatives on European contracts. I have assisted Aero in the removal of engines (and in cases the Power Turbine) from the package for major overhaul. Re-installation & alignment, and pre commissioning of land mounted units, generally LM2500. Having an appreciation and experience of Operations and Maintenance of their TM2500 power plant as a package for GE Energy Rentals, I gained further experience solely on the LM2500 Gas Generator itself. Working to GE guidelines and procedures, fulfilling Aero FSR expectations, I now have a greater understanding of Engines and the strict mechanical work required, particularly on installs.

To become more flexible for Granite I accepted a request to attend classroom training for GE Water Technologies. I then worked on operations and maintenance within Europe on GE Mobile Water Treatment plants, providing various levels of purified water to suit client specification based upon plant requirements. I have gained further knowledge of chemistry and the direct use in water treatment. I have obtained operations and maintenance experience of mobile plant including 6 stage Filtration Systems, Reverse Osmosis, De-Aerators and DI Trailers and their effectiveness and efficiency within the water purification and treatment industry.

08/06/2007 – 03/08/2007 NRG Global, Kuwait

Installation Supervisor: Working Self Employed as PB Globetech Ltd, however sub-contracted to TC Power via NRG Global on a rotating shift basis. Working as a team member my role is to oversee and assist in a new installation of six General Electric LM6000 gas turbine units. Responsibilities include liaising with client on a daily basis regarding progress, safety concerns if applicable and relevant issues. Accountable to Project and Installation Managers I am supervising a team of ex-patriots, and local labor of up to 20 personnel.
