1. Mechanical inspection, commissioning, troubleshooting of marine, mechanical system
2. To monitor pre-commissioning, testing and commissioning activities of all mechanical equipment and interface/associated systems
3. To assist the Project Manager in every aspect of technical, environmental aspects of the project implementation
4. Provides leadership to the technical team working in the project and visualizes the technical task to be discharged.
5. Prepares project documents (Design, drawings, and schedules of labour).
6. Supervises and monitors the works of contractors and facilitates their works for completion
7. Prepares monthly reports for each contract and consolidates them in an overall project report, which should record progress
8. To review and ensure completeness and accuracy of systems handover documentation.
9. To supervise and clear commissioning related punch list/outstanding works.
10. Prepare a weekly report on incoming drawings, transmittal of drawings, issue list
11. Monitor and solving the design, construction issues raised by the contractors, clients, internal departments
12. Identifies problems in each contract and recommends action for resolving them
13. Prepares the project completion report for each contract and comparative narrative as to whether completed works conform to the as-built drawings prepared by the contractors
14. Identifies potential problem areas that require regular inspection or attention by Project Manager
15. Assists the Project Manager to prepare annual and trimester progress reports
16. Ensure that the right product is designed, developed and delivered to meet Company's quality standard, and contract requirements
17. Lead Project Teams and facilitate the communication and interaction amongst the functional representatives as delegated by the assigned project manager
18. Coordination of engineering and field project teams under the direction of the project manager and as assigned by the project manager.
19. Assist the project manager with the preparation and conduction of the Project Kick-Off Meeting.

9. Inspection and testing of commissioning materials and equipment must ensure that they are in accordance with the order/contract prior to receipt and or acceptance by the company.
10. Coordinate with the (sub) contractors and facilitate vendors on pre- commissioning and commissioning activities
11. Ensure that pre-commissioning, testing and commissioning works are carried out safely, in accordance with Company standards and procedures and project specifications, meet acceptance criteria.

Compressive stress and strain are calculated and plotted as a stress-strain diagram which is used to determine elastic limit, proportional limit, yield point, yield strength. Rheology test is also conducted to find deformation of P-seal under stress and strain when it is placed in the fluid flow
