Work History:

My name is Waylon Capner and for the last 15 years I have been in the oil and gas industry with extensive time spent on the service rigs. For the last 7 years I was a rig manager on both mobile singles and mobile doubles. For a short period of time I had also operated a slickline truck. The last two winters my time had been spent in the northern part of Alberta and British Columbia. In the late nineties I also worked in the Estevan Saskatchewan area.

2000-2001- Canadian Subsurface Slickline Division
2001-2006- Rockwell Servicing
2006-2008- Performance Well Servicing
2008-Present- Drew Oilfield Consulting Inc.

While working at Rockwell Servicing I advanced through all of the positions before moving onto Canadian Subsurface. While working at Canadian Subsurface I was in the relief operating position. I then returned back to Rockwell Servicing to the rig manager position. In 2006, I was offered by Performance Well Servicing the opportunity to oversee the building of the rig that I would then become the manager of until August of 2008.

After leaving Performance Well Servicing I started up a Consulting company called Drew Oilfield Consulting where I could become a wellsite supervisor for Oil companies.
This is the position that I currently hold, with substantial work experience in the oil and gas industry. During my time as a rig manager and a wellsite supervisor I have maintained incident and accident free work sites under my supervision.

While working as a rig manager I developed great people skills. This is due to the many phone calls and meetings with Consultants for different oil companies. I work well with others and when given a task or a responsibility I make sure that it is done in a safe as well as efficient manner. I work hard and make sure that everything that I do is done to the best of my ability. I have great computer skills and catch on very quickly to new computer programs, with extensive time working with spreadsheets.
