Presently working as a plant officer in Naphtha Hydro Treating Unite (Cobalt Molybdenum Catalyst S-12 are used in Down Flow Reactor ) & Semi Regeneration Catalytic Reforming Unite (Platinum Rhenium R -56 Catalyst are used in Radial Flow Reactors) with capacity of (5000 Bpsd) processes Naphtha to achieve 90 RONC in Attock Refinery Ltd Morgah Rawalpindi (since January 2006).

Special Training Courses:
* Complete One years training as a trainee (DAE-chemical) at Reformer plant in ARL (from 2006 -to- 2007)
* Special course about Reforming & Hydro Treating at ARL Training centre.
* Computer training about MS Excel, MS Word
* Attend 02 week fire & safety training in fire & safety department.

Job Responsibilities:

* Reporting unit/section status or operation status to shift engineer with shift log/shift report.
* Communicating with Boardman & Field Operator.
* Shutdown & safe Startup procedure (Normal as well as Emergency) of Naphtha hydro treating (NHT) & Reformer Unit.
* Troubleshooting in safe action of Naphtha Hydro treating & Reformer Plant in case of any Emergency.
* Coordinate with oil movement department for the proper throughput & product of plant.
* Follow Standard Safety procedures, Work order & work permit.

Monitoring the operation & Trouble shooting of following equipment:

* Rotary & stationery equipment Pumps (high speed centrifugal, multi stage centrifugal & positive displacement pumps).
* Rotary & stationery equipment compressors (single stage double acting reciprocating recycle gas compressor & diaphragm compressor).
* Natural Draft vertical cylindrical type Heaters.
* Reactors.
* Distillation towers.
* Utilities.
* Cooling towers (induce & force draft).
* Heat exchangers (U, I &double pipe).

Emergency shutdown handling:

* Handling fifteen (15) Emergency Shutdown due to power failure & Normal shutdown both in field and on DCS

Annual Turn around of Reformer plant:

I was involved in the following activities in annual turnaround of the Reformer plant.
* Overhauling of vessels.
* Cleaning of furnaces.
* Cleaning of Exchanger &condenser (overhead fan).
* Overhauling of high speed centrifugal pumps.
* Overhauling of positive Displacement compressor (Reciprocating type).
* Skimming of Catalyst.
