Senior Technical Procurement Engineer Acting As Procurement Manager:
In charge of planning, sourcing, and procuring all goods and services in the areas of GSM Mobile Networks.
* Handling day to day procurement activities for GSM Network goods and services projects.
* Plan, organize, and staff department as per t needs and
* KPI monthly submissions for related purchasing operations, ensuring proper documentation and following of procurement procedures, and maintaining supervision and participation in the preparation of written procurement reports, analysis and presentations.
* Independently handling special projects, contracts and agreements negotiations and personally manage request for proposals, contract negotiations, and contract management.
* Work closely with Technical team to keep informed of industry trends and identify potential future projects.
* Plan and develop strategies to support current and future internal and external procurement needs
* Implement sourcing strategies to support corporate and divisional objectives, providing the company competitive advantage in the areas of materials, supplies, and services, while implements best practices in procurement.
* Locate, analyze, and develop a consolidated supplier base to meet current and future commodity needs, and maintains and promotes sound relationships with suppliers and the business community to maintain performance expectations, service level and quality requirements.
* Manage and optimize supplier performance, including continuous improvement, innovation, obsolescence and reduction in total cost of ownership.
* Create and maintain mutually beneficial long-term partnerships with suppliers to foster feedback and continuous improvement.
* Coordinate between the supplier and company departments to ensure company targets are achieved promptly and supplier payments are processed.
* Understand, track, and forecast the key cost drivers and market factors.
* Implement appropriate sourcing strategies to control the company's purchased material costs, to assure an adequate source of supply, and to maintain a solid hard and soft savings percentages.
* Developing strategies for assigned procurement area to include spend analysis, market and geographic considerations, strategic importance, etc.
* Control and optimize efficient credit terms to ensure a healthy level of cash liquidity to the company, and avoid any advance payments negative consequences.
* Researches and evaluates commodity areas and makes recommendations for standardization and additions to Qualified Products List.
