Expeditor

* Making primary vendor contact to verify receipt of order, order acknowledgement, contact person name and number, sales order number and identify location of manufacturing facilities.
* Obtain from vendor the detailed list of deliverables with dates for approval by Engineering.
* Obtain vendor work schedule / manufacturing plan.
* Monitor and expedite vendor data documents / drawing and manufacturing schedule.
* Follow up of internal approval and ensure timely return of Vendor documents.
* Liaise Third Party Inspection (Intermediate, Factory Tests, Final) with QA/QC Department.
* Obtain from specific vendors Monthly Progress Reports and analyze.
* If vendor activities are not on schedule, analyze cause of delay and take appropriate actions.
* Monitor progress at a later date to validate improvement.
* Coordinate shipping release between QA/QC and Engineering.
* Obtain shipment information (carrier waybill number, number of pieces, dimensions and weights).
* Ensure liaison with appointed logistics company of supplier.
* Liasioning of Site deliveries with Material Controller and Site Manager.
* Follow-up on Over, Short & Damaged Reports (OSD).
