* Initially started Sea career as a Marine Radio Officer and served in various International Shipping Companies, (Mainly on Oil Tankers, VLCCs, ULCCs, Gas carriers & Chemical carriers) Where I was handling complete communication of the vessel plus maintenance of various Communication equipments & Navigational equipments such as Radars, GPS, Echo sounders, Auto pilots & Gyro compass. Commenced working as QHSE Consultant cum Trainer in one of India's largest Offshore Company, called Great Offshore limited where I use to visit their fleet vessels comprising of various sizes of OSVs, PSVs, AHTSVs, DSVs & Harbour TUGs. Few of them were fitted with ROV & DP systems as well.

* From 31/03/2007 to 06/04/2007, Represented Great Offshore Ltd for Offshore Safety Induction camp organized by TRANSOCEAN and conducted by their QHSE Trainer – DR.GANESH SHASTRI at Suraksha Marine Training Base and scored 99 marks out of 100 at the end of this Training camp.

* BARGE – DLB 332: Period = 21/09/2007 to 20/01/2008 Project = Berry & Qatif (ARAMCO)
* Joined barge in Sharjah where preparations were in progress for the ARAMCO project and then was de-mobbed to Saudi Arabia – ARAMCO project for lying up 14", 16" & 30" pipelines at Berry & Qatif oil fields and installation of jackets / Riser guards / various sizes of spools.
* Responsibilities undertaken & fulfilled during the tenure on BARGE – DLB 332:
a. Conducting Tool Box meeting for average 50-60 personnel everyday prior shift begins and impart daily job work safety related topics.
b. Update & maintain Safety matrix of all personnel on board with their Safety certificates & Medical fitness status, if required organize with office to get it renewed or send for fresh courses.
c. Update & maintain LSA / FFA equipments on board. Carry out their periodical maintenance and get them ready for annual surveys & servicing.
d. Get the HSE department ready in all respect for ARAMCO pre-job HSE inspection, which managed to clear without any remarks or observations.
e. Get the Helicopter deck ready in all respect for ARAMCO pre-job HSE inspection and got it cleared without any remarks or observations.
f. Organize with ARAMCO HSE department for conducting their internal examination for issuing and / or receiving PTW (Permit to Work). Have scored 97 marks out of 100 in this exam and became certified permit receiver for ARAMCO.
g. Prepare & implement pre-job Safety analysis & risk analysis for the job work during the project.
h. Conducting scheduled safety drills for the POB of 225 personnel on regular basis, Such as:-

* Joined BARGE – COMANCHE during her stay at BATAM ship yard prior departing for project work at Vietnam:
* Attending daily work progress meeting with HSE Manager, where all work schedules was fixed and job discussions were carried out pertaining to safety of the barge.
* Keep Fire watch at various locations on barge as heavy welding jobs were in progress for alteration of complete accommodation.
* Arranging & checking of FFA (Fire fighting appliances) during this heavy welding jobs.
* Attending various jobs for preparation of Heli deck for the Vietnam project.

* BARGE – SUBTEC-1 Period = 15/05/2008 to 05/07/2008 Project: Berry & Qatif (ARAMCO)

* Joined barge in Sharjah where preparations were in progress for the ARAMCO project and then was de-mobbed to Berry & Qatif (ARAMCO - Saudi Arabia) project.
* Conduct toolbox meeting for average 20 crewmembers every day prior shift begins and brief them about safety related topics while working on deck and emphasize safety culture among these people.
* Keep track of various surveys conducted prior de mob to Saudi Arabia and maintain Ships certificate file and its status.
* Keep track of all rigging material received on board at Sharjah and their certificates. Maintained complete file for this subject.
* Arranging pre mobilization, Safety matrix formalities. Updating / renewing peoples STCW'95 certifications and pre-joining medicals.

d. Riser Guard clamp Installation.
e. Dummy riser guard installation.
f. Grouting Job on crossings.
g. Installation of 6", 12" & 18" spools (RS-15, 16 & 17)

* Conduct daily tool box meeting for average 25 crew members every day prior shift begins and brief them about safety related topics while working on DECK / ONGC platforms and emphasize safety culture among these people.
* Attend everyday "Daily job work" meeting along with client's representatives.
* Effectively maintain LSA / FFA equipments throughout the project work.
* Monitor safe transfer of personnel / materials from Barge to Crew boats and vice versa.
* Attending pre-job Safety meetings on ONGC platforms along with client's rep and ONGC – OIM, process managers and HSE authorities.

* Prepared two reviews for SSP insertions – namely, procedures for lock down situation of diving dept staff and additional precautions to be taken in case of piracy / armed robbery attack on vessel.
* SSO logbook is updated with appropriate entries.
* Carried out monthly internal audit for ISPS.
* Commenced using Access control register.
* Prepared monthly stowaway search report.
* Prepared 20 visitors passes as per audit report.
* Have taken tally of all the extra keys of all the accommodation rooms / offices & stores as per SSP and made the list accordingly which is kept under the custody of Suptd.
* Have prepared "Entry to restricted area" logbooks for Pump room & warehouse and started using them.
* Got the approval from CSO for installation of additional SSAS button in to Suptd office as per observation received during last audit.
* This new TEST button tried out and results were reported to CSO.
* Conducted various ISPS topics training / awareness sessions with crew members during daily TBM
* Prepared Green Teams formation for the Bomb Search drills.
* Conducted ISPS Bomb search drill. Report is being sent to concerned authorities.
