Employment History

Petrofac Int. Ltd. (May 2007 to till date¡K.)

Presently I am working in Petrofac Int. Ltd., as a senior field operator. This is Multinational EPC Company and pioneer in Oil & Gas project and it is located in all over the world.

Presently I am working in Sfax in Tunis for British Gas Project. This project is for new terminal which will be able to process up to 120 MMSCFD of Raw Gas, Export up to 15000 bpd of Stabilized condensate and oil and export a combined total of butane and propane of appx. 400 tpd.

Before this project I was worked in Kuwait for KOC project by Petrofac int. ltd.

This project was for facility upgrade and relocation of underground piping for various gas gathering centre for KOC. Familiar with test seperator,high presser seperator,low presser seperator,desalters,high pressure and low pressure scrubber, various anticorrosive chemical,antiscale chemicals,demulsifier,dry and wet crude tank, booster station, deoiling packages etc.

(2) Seef Limited, Qatar. (2006 to 2007)

Seef limited is producing Linear Alkyl Benzene and N-Paraffin. This is basically petrochemical complex having various distillation columns, high pressure Reactors, furnaces, reciprocating and screw compressors, various types of pumps etc, latest DCS system. This process is based on UOP process and Technology.

I was worked as field operator in seef limited.

(3) SNC-Lavalin Europe B.V.Branch, Saudi Arabia. (2005 to 2006)

SNC-Lavalin is multinational EPC Company. I was worked as a commissioning engineer for LAB & N-PARAFFIN project for Gulf Arabi Petrochemical Company in Saudi Arabia.

(4) Emirates Linear Alkyl Benzene Plant, Jebel Ali-Dubai (2004 to 2005)

Emirates Linear alkyl benzene plant produce LAB using UOP Technology & Process having various distillation columns, high pressure Reactor, vacuum pumps, storage tanks, various pumps, DCS system, etc.

I was worked as a plant operator in the company.

(5) Samsung Engineering Company Ltd. (2004)

Samsung engineering company is the major multinational EPC Company.
I was worked as a commissioning engineer for LAB & N-Paraffin plant for INDIAN OIL REFINARY.This plant producing capacity 1, 20,000 MTPA of LAB.

(6) Nirma Petrochemical Ltd. Vadodara, India. (1997-2004)

Nirma Ltd. is having big petrochemical complex for producing LAB and N-paraffin by using UOP technology and process.

I was worked as a process operator in Nirma Ltd.

Responsibilities during project stages:

(1) Detail study of PFD and P & ID for the plants.
(2) Mark up for the system P & ID for Flushing and Leak Testing.
(3) Follow Permit to work procedure and make the permit for any work.
(4) Execution of Flushing of pipe line by water, or air blasting as per requirement.
(5) Check Reinstatement after Drying of the system as per P & ID.
(6) Punch list preparation in field and record it in electronic data file.
(7) Loop checking for various instruments and logic check in DCS and Field.
(8) Motor Solo Run, Water Run of Various of pumps.
(9) Follow standard rules of HSE for locking and tagging, flushing, leak testing and all the activities of pre-commissioning and commissioning.
(10) Precomm.activites for compressor like lube oil flushing, compressor line acid prickling, card board blasting, interlock checking etc.
(11) Supervised loading of catalysts to reactors in co-ordination with Licensor.
(12) Hot oil filling to the tank, Refractory dry out, hot oil charged to the re-boiler etc.
(13) High pressure separator, columns, vessel etc inspection as per drawing.
(14) Flange management activities for entire plant.

Fully involved in all the activities during pre-commissioning, commissioning and start up activities of the plant until final on spec product produce and route to the tank.
Responsibilities during operation of plant:

1. To be responsible for monitoring and ensuring the efficient operation of the plant and handling over to the incoming shift in a systematic and orderly manner.
2. To regularly patrol the plant and ensure that equipment is performing in the designed, safe manner and that standby spare equipment are available for immediate use if required.
3. To maintain accurate and timely log plant and equipment data closely follow their performance and raise timely work orders for correction when required.
4. To prepare and hand over equipment in a safe manner to maintenance staff for repair and take back in service after checks as per Work Permit procedure.
5. Adjust the plant operation as per plan and in safe manner to maintenance staff for repair and take back in service after checks as per Work Permit procedure.
6. To react to plant process/safety emergencies promptly.
7. To use correctly chemicals and other consumables in an optimized manner to ensure cost saving.
8. To comply with all company policies and procedures.
9. To understand and comply with standing instruction & procedures.
10. To check that all safety devices such as PSVs are in service and report when abnormalities occur.
11. To carry out field functional tests of standby and safety/protective devices as per schedule.
