OBJECTIVE

SUMMARY

I am a Geophysicist with around five years of experience. I have extensive geosciences experience in Geophysical data acquisition, processing and interpretation and working as a processing consultant with direct client interaction. Professionally trained and experienced in Landmark Graphics geophysical data processing Software ProMax, Geoprobe & BGP acquisition software KLSeis, Paradigm data processing software DISCO/FOOCUS.
Currently working in Seismic Data Processing Division Saudi Aramco from contractor side (BGP Arabia), doing seismic data processing in South Gawar team, using FOCUS/DISCO software.
My major seismic data acquisition projects are JALADI SPARSE 3D-Saudi Aramco, Qarn Alam 3D Slip Sweep Project-PDO Oman. In Pakistan Mubarak block-PETRONAS, KADANWARI 3D Block ¡V OMV, Latif Block ¡V ENI. Geophysical data processing Projects includes 3D projects Nuayyim East block 1, South Udaynan blocks 1, 2, 3,4,6,7, Yabrin 3D block 1, 2, 3 and Gas detection project in Saudi Aramco processing center using FOCUS/DISCO. I was involved in 2D data processing for Jhelum area, HPK, HALA, Mirpurkhas, Ghotki and Kohat Area for clients OGDCL, PPL, PEL, and MOL using ProMAX in BGP Geophysical Data processing center Pakistan.
I have done three moths internship training for Geophysical data interpretation training from OGDCL Pakistan of the Mianwali Area.

BGP SAUDI ARABIA (2005- TO DATE)
Responsibilities include:
SENIOR GEOPHYSICAL DATA PROCESSOR
GEOPHYSICAL PROCESSING CENTER -SAUDI ARAMCO (MARCH 2007 TODATE)
Currently working as a geophysical data processing consultant in Saudi Aramco data processing center and have successfully complete following projects using DISCO/FOCUS software.
Nuayyim East 3D project
Currently working on Nuayyim East Block 01(890 sq km). Responsibilities include:
* Reformat from SEGD, geometry assignment and data qc
* Prepare gathers in SEGY format for modeling team to create datum statics solution
* Calculation of residual statics (two passes), velocity analyisis (two passes), noise attenuation, Surface consistant decon and scaling, final stack etc to PSTM.
South Udaynan 3D project block 06 & 07
* Competed processing on South Udaynan Block 06(786 sq km) and Block 07 (825 Sq km)
* Reformat from SEGD, geometry assignment and data qc
* Prepare gathers in SEGY format for modeling team to create datum statics solution
* Iterations of residual statics, linear noise attenuation, Surface consistent scaling and decon, velocity analysis, multiple attenuation, final stack etc up to PSTM
South Udaynan 3D project block (1, 2 and 3)
* Working on block 1, 2 and 3. Picking PSTM velocities.
South Udaynan 3D project block04 Hazard survey:
* Data processing for the hazard survey of south udaynan block 04.
2D gas detection project:
* 25 lines have been completed up to final stack.
* Responsibility was read the data to disk, geometry assignment and its QC
* Deconvolution, residual statics, velocity analysis, and attenuation of multiples, final stack and creating super gathers, final stack and segy
Yabrin 3D Review project:
* I was the part of the team for reprocessing of nine blocks of this review project
* Hazard survey of three blocks
FIELD GEOPHYSICAL DATA PROCESSOR - JALADI SPARSE 3D
I worked as an onsite Processor with BGP ARABIA Seismo51 Jaladi Sparse 3D
* Mainly in charge of quality control of raw shots in seismic area, source area and receiver area, spread to sps correlation qc, pilot qc, f-k and f-X analysis of noise source, geometry qc, Deconvolution
* Velocity analysis and create brute stack for each swath using ProMAX software.
* Delivery of Seismic data to SAUDI ARAMCO.

BGP OMAN (2005)
Responsibilities include:
GEOPHYSICAL DATA PROCESSOR
In BGP Oman worked as a geophysicist for the client PDO in Qarn Alam 3D Slip Sweep project
* Involved in survey planning, geophysical data acquisition including daily reports, preplan, preparation of sps, raw shot qc, geometry qc
* Coherent noise attenuation, velocity analysis, creating brute stack etc.

SAGEO (BGP) PAKISTAN (2004- 2005)
Responsibilities include:
ASSISTANT GEOPHYSICAL DATA PROCESSOR
In SAGEO (BGP) Pakistan worked for several 2D projects E&P clients including OMV, PEL, PPL, ENI, and OGDCL.
* My major responsible for the following jobs like transcription, noise analysis, geometry, sps data QC, LMO, bad trace editing, tar, coherent noise attenuation, Deconvolution,
* Static correction, velocity analysis, residual static's, NMO, DMO etc. I did processing of the different projects like Jhelum area, HPK, Mirpur Khas. Hala, Ghotki, Kohat etc
* Strong background in geology and good knowledge of geological features including faults, folds, anticlines, synclines etc
TRAINEE GEOPHYSICIST
In BGP Pakistan worked as Trainee for different BGP acquisition and processing projects
* Crew-C for the client PETRONAS at Sardargarh area Sindh, responsible for daily report, weekly report, prepare SPS etc.
* Kadanwari Block and Latif Block which was the joint venture project of OMV and ENI in Sindh area.
* Daily reports, weekly reports prepare SPS and learned all aspects of geophysical data acquisition.
