Well Head Operation
Offshore Production
Well experienced in offshore production installations and rigs, well testing, well completion, well actuation. Start up and shutdown procedures, technical room operation, emergency procedures, water injection wells, gas compression, chemical injection, gas lift systems, (intermittent & Continuous), sucker pump (RADO & ROCKERARM) worked in Bombay high & Basin Platforms BHN, NQO, WIN BPA & BPB and familiar with the well completion things like packer, pump out plug, expansion joint, Mandrel GLV, Sliding sleeve and tubing hanger etc. (made by BAKER, OTIS, CAMCO & ARROW).
Well Head Operation
Operation of X-Mass tree (CAMERON, FMC, CAMCO & BHEL), Actuator operated Master valve and Wing valve, SSSV (DHSV), annulus pressure bleeding operation, panel board operations (BAKER, OILS, BRISCO & PETROTEC), Flow line choke changing and adjusting, Flow line PSL & PSH switches, FTHP well equalizing, gas lift injection wells, Test separator handling Well testing, BDV panel operation, orifice changing in the flow lines (oil, gas & water/ DANIEL), Flow and pressure recording (IIT BURTON, FOXBORO & ROSEMOUNT), isolation and hand over the wells to well service for perforation, Acid job, well cleaning, wire line operations such as SSSV removing, Bottom hole sampling, Reservoir study, down hole analysis.
Process & Production
Familiar with wellhead, oil chokes, HP, & LP separators (Three Phase). Dehydration Tank, Heat Exchangers, Demulsifies & Anti foam injection, other chemicals (Scale inhibitor, Corrosion Inhibitor, water Clarifier, etc.) injection rate calculations, chemical injection pumps (Electrical and air drive) Desalting crude through electric desalters, Produced Water Tank, Skimmer Tank, Tilted plate Tank Gas boot, produced water flash drum, knock out drum, Pig launching and receiving foam, scraper, cup and intelligent preparation of daily production reports (Gas, oil & water), Well Test Data entry, oil & gas calculation for GOR. Operation & Control of Roof Top intermediate Tanks (5000 M3 ), handling transfer pumps, booster pumps, Main pumps, current level of the tanks, Bottom oil transfer operation, water draining and operation of all motor operation valves at Crude Oil Pumping Station.
Test Run for the standby equipment as per the Schedule, isolations, and desolation of equipment for Maintenance, familiar with Work Permit Systems, gas testing, trouble shooting reports, Checking and testing all alarms and trip switches with the instrument technicians and also involving the preventive maintenance of the plant, Familiar with pneumatic panels, different types of valves, like PCV, LCV, FCV controllers, and transmitters. Familiar with the Power turbines (ROLLAND, ROLLSROYCE) parameters, starting from the PLC & DCS panel, CO2 and UV detectors isolation for internal inspections, Fuel Gas purging and filter cleaning etc. Additional requirements involved lab sampling (oil & gas) and analysis like BSW and PTB. Conversant in handling of DCS (Distributed Control System)
WORK PERFORMED:
Tours the Gas Treatment Plant (GTP & NGTP, TA), separation plant, Gas Cap Tower and assigned to every two hours to monitor performance and ensure efficient operation according to prescribed conditions.
Daily visit to well head platforms by Boat or Heilcopter.
Records in a log sheet operating data such as: Flow rates, pressure, temperature and levels…etc of each module including separators, scrubbers, gas header and risers. Reports to Production Supervisor abnormal readings recommending appropriate remedial action. Implements approved ones immediately.
Operates according to established procedures, including starting-up/shutting-down the plant and adjusting associate gauges to maintain the required levels, flow rates, pressure and temperature.
Prepares the plant for maintenance as per established procedures when required, accompanies the Instrument/Mechanical/Electrical Technicians to explain defects/defaults ensuring safe preparation of equipment for routine planned maintenance and tests such repaired equipment to ensure smooth efficient operation.
Informs Supervisor for requesting stores stock items/chemicals necessary for operating the plant, checks consignments and endorses loading/delivery notes. Maintains adequate housekeeping according to Company's safety regulations.
Carries out simple laboratory tests to conform the quality of plant products (oil, water, gas) and helps to evaluate plant performance such as water quality test, crude salt, gas dew point, glycol PH (acidity). etc.
Mixes chemicals to appropriate ratios and prepares doses for injection into process steams whenever required.
Carries out planned inspection and safety tours to identify unsafe conditions and practices, classifies equipment from hazard point of view. Prepares machinery and equipment for maintenance in accordance with established procedures, Company's safety regulations and maintains adequate standard of housekeeping through out the plants.
Performs other related duties such as collecting oil, water and gas samples carrying-out first line routine service e.g. greasing, lubricating and adjusting glands, tightening loose connection, changing filters.etc. producing weekly chemicals stock/consumption reports and preparing isolation confirmation certificates-ICC. etc.
Taking part as assigned by Production Supervisor in training/developing new recruits/UAE National Employees/Developees.
Experienced Units
Gas Sweetening Unit
Methyl Diethanol Amine (MDEA) is used to absorb the H2S from the sour gas. It consists of two sections; Absorption section is Amine Contactor and Amine regeneration section. Operation and control of the Absorber knock Out Drum, Heat Exchangers and maintain the MDEA temp. Control the level of rich amine flash drum. Rich/Lean Amine exchanger, Regenerator, Control the lean amine flash drum, operation of vapour compressors, and Reflux pumps.
Gas Dehydration Unit
The dehydration consists of two sections. 1. Dehydration section and 2 Glycol Regeneration section. Natural gas from HP. Test separator constitutes feed to Gas Dehydration system.
Glycol purification, Glycol Regeneration, Natural Gas dehydration, Coalescer separator, Glycol contactor, Glycol Recovery scrubber, Reboiler, Burner Reflux coil, Glycol Flash way valve, Glycol Booster and circulation pump operation Glycol pumped in the system and also the pH value checking at Glycol. Fuel gas, Pilot gas, Blanket gas and stripping gas operation.
Condensate Fractionation Unit
This is the gas expanding process, Feed gas supply, Feed gas cooling and drying, feed gas chill down and separation, Lean gas compression and dispatch, Drying regeneration, LPG Column, Refrigeration system, Fuel gas system, Control all of the dryers, Filters, Heat exchangers, Control and operation of LPG column reflux pump. LPG dispatch pumps, Expander and Compressor.
Sulphur Recovery Unit
Acid gas is coming from the sweetening unit to recover the Sulphur. Familiar with control of maintain the incinerator, knock out drums, oxidizer, and absorber, adding catalytic reagents and liquid Sulphur is transferred to Sulphur storage tank by transfer pumps.
Gas Injection Unit
Inject high pressure dehydrated gas into the well reservoir, Operation and maintenance of multistage gas compressors (Kawasaki cooper), Scrubbers, Inter Coolers, After Coolers, separators, Start up and shutdown operations of compressor at gas injection unit, control the dryers, pressurization/depressurization of the dryer, control the cool box, operations and maintenance of single state and expander, handling LPG dispatch centrifugal type compressors and NGL pumps.
Water Treatment and Injection
Start up knowledge of water lift pumps (Ingersoll- Dresser 450 m3/h), electro chlorination Package units, chemical injections like biocide1 & 2, Antiscale, Antifoam, and Cl2 scavenger, coarse filter, sand filters (220m3/h), back washing sequence of the filters, blowers, deaerator (stripping gas method and vacuum method), 02 scavenger injection, Vacuum pumps, Boost pumps and turbo pumps driven by EGT Turbines (530m/h) starting and stopping from the PLC & DCS panels, PCV & FCV (Mini flow) controlling, export line pressure monitoring and water Export line Pigging Operations.
