Job Responsibilities:

 Structure Derivative Deals in HedgeRx according to ISDA confirmations for the various clients, structuring various types of Hedges (Fair Value, Cash Flow, Net Investment) according to accounting standards like FAS 133, FAS 157, and IAS 39.

 Provided valuation of the various derivatives (forwards, future, swaps and options) across various asset classes external to the system.

 Understanding and analyzing the market risk effect on exposures due to various factors. Conducted Stress Tests to forecast the movement of Hedges.

 Measuring ineffectiveness using Dollar Offset/Regression methods. Reporting numbers as per hedge accounting standards and possess fair idea in explaining the balances. Fairly conversant with hedge accounting standards such as FAS 133/FAS 157, IAS 39/IFRS 7.

 Worked directly with the Auditors/ clients on the issues related to Hedge ineffectiveness & derivatives valuations.

 Worked on the complete transition of some of the Fortune 500 companies from their implementation phase to shift to Client Solutions.

 Plan & Execute functional testing, performance testing, scrub testing & MAT testing.

 Conducted training for the new members within the team and other teams like QA, BA and FAs on the Reval Product including the functional issues of Derivatives and Hedge Accounting.
