WORK EXPERIENCE:

1. Worked as Trainee Engineer in Bestway Cement, Hattar (07.12.2003 to 11.06.2004) in its Instrument & Control department. It's a PLC Process controller plant, so beside introduction to field instruments, I got a chance to understand the hardware/software essentials of Siemens DCS (S5 155U), (CEMAT V4.1) systems.

2. Worked in Thatta Cement Company Ltd, Thatta from June 15, 2004 to September 30, 2007 as Assistant Manager (Instrument & Control) and following were my JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
ƒá I was looking after DCS matters and development of new changes in plant software program and HMI, checking of PLC Hardware, fulfilling PLC signal testing and commissioning jobs, provision of DCS solutions in case of urgency.
ƒá I was responsible to maintain the records, data log of daily checking and routine faults history according to the ISO standards. Also responsible to check on all general maintenance work and maintain their records.
ƒá To supervise the team and utilize their services in the best of the works. Also extend full co-ordination with Mechanical and production departments on scheduled maintenance of the plant.
ƒá Responsible to diagnose faults and maintenance of the filed instruments. Calibration of pneumatic, electronic instruments, weighing based automatic dosing systems and maintenance of other plant equipments.
ƒá Designing and work on MV switch gear, MCC, transformer control and circuits to improve plant performance and to minimize the production losses.
ƒá Responsible to organize and manage planned and preventive maintenance schedules for up-keep and maintenance of instruments and control systems.
ƒá Responsible for indenting to make possible availability of new spares, instruments and materials pertaining to my department as and when required.
ƒá Also responsible for training arrangements for new technical manpower. Also any duty assigned by HOD from time to time.

* Attended an exhaustive training on Siemens S7 DCS system programming during my stay as Assistant Manager in Thatta Cement Co. LTD., as well.

3- Working as Instruments & Control Engineer in Raysut Cement Co. Ltd, Oman since October, 2007.
It has 8000 TPD capacity round the clock running state of the art plants located in Salalah, Oman.
Raysut Cement is using latest version of ABB control systems for plant control as well as optimizer level controls for kiln, Raw mill proportion and pre-blending (Cross Belt analyzers) linked to the latest office IT (Knowledge Manager). I am working independently and able to handle following systems of this plant.
o ABB, 800xA DCS Control.
o ABB, ADVANT AC450 DCS Control.
o Expert Optimizer (Link man) for Pyro process controlling.
o Raw Mix proportioning Control.
o Cross Belt Analyzers for PreBlending controls.
o Siemens PLC S7-300, 200, Pro Tool.
o Different HT relays softwares, ABB VVFD software, o Have keen idea on different OPC interfaces for data exchanges.
o Familiar with the roller press hydrolic controls (Worked on KHD Pyrofloor cooler and grinding press).
o Familiar with SAP operation module.
o Planned and corrective maintenance job execution for smooth instrument operational execution.
o Planning for the spares to be procured for the continuous operation.
