• Supervised quality assurance for all process and utility systems offshore. This includes; produced oil BS&W and RVP, produced water regulatory quality, produced gas production and re-injection volumes and water injection quality and volumes.
• Permit to work authorizer for all maintenance activities ensuring all safety controls are in compliance with corporate policies and safety, health and environment regulations.
• Prioritized and planned all operations and maintenance activities ensuring alignment with corporate strategy.
• Coached, mentored and developed the competencies of all Control Room and Operations Technicians.
• Wrote and implemented the competency assurance manuals for the technical training of control room operators and operations technicians offshore.
• Responsible for the PDP (personal development process) for all operations technicians and control room operators, providing coaching, mentoring, feedback and succession planning.
• Responsible for the review and or the approval of maintenance activities through the SAP (computer maintenance management system) system. This review includes budget expenditure approval to 50K CND.
• Selected as part of the team involved in the review of ExxonMobile’s and Hibernia’s “Best Practices and Policies” to develop a strategy to align Hibernia with ExxonMoblie. This review includes access to ExxonMobile’s OIMS (operation information management system) system ensuring corporate alignment.
• Wrote, coordinated and participated in numerous emergency response scenarios developing the emergency response teams efficiencies and the person in charge’s ability in command and control.
• On scene commander, coordinating firefighting and medical response teams during platform emergencies.
• Lead several investigations using Taproot to determine the root cause of various near misses and incidents on the platform and to prevent reoccurrence. Provided conflict resolution for all platform system teams and personnel.
