Cryogenic Nitrogen Unit.
Cryogenic nitrogen plant capacity of 1830 Nm3/hr Gaseous nitrogen & 430 Nm3/hr Liquid nitrogen, 99.99 vol % Nitrogen purity in HPCL, visakhapatnum.

* Responsible for Production Operation, monitor process parameters and correct the deviations and also responsible for optimizing process conditions to get the desired yield and quality of the product
* Plant performance and equipments performance checking – Three stage centrifugal Compressors, Heat Exchanger, columns, Pump, Expander Turbine, etc.
* Handling the Emersion Process Management (DCS) System and preparing the permits along with assessment of risks.
* Plant modifications – Basic and Detailed Engineering Documents Review.
* Trouble shooting of plant process and operating problems.
* Review the start-up/shutdown procedure provided by the operation department.
* Review the start-up/shutdown schedule and monitor the start-up/shut down activities.
* Reviewing the emergency procedure in coordination with operation department.
MSQ UNIT (MOTOR SPRIT QUALITY UPGRADATION)
Comprises Naphtha Splitter and Hydrotreater, Reformate Splitter, Isomerisation – LPG Recovery, Selective Hydrogenation, FCC Gasoline Splitter process units. For the Precommissioning & Commissioning, Start up & Shutdown activities.

* Trouble shooting with minimum loss of production and quality of product.
* Co-ordinating with Deputy Managers and Other Plant operators for smooth operation.

VISCOSITY BREAKER UNIT:
This 3 MMTPA unit, which comes under CPCL Refinery's phase-3Expansion, has been successfully commissioned. The unit is designed to process about 150m3\hr. vacuum Residue as Feed, the propose being to convert Low value low demand feed to High demand high value Diesel, Naphtha, Fuel oil, VB off gas etc. The process is the latest of its kind comprising most modern equipments like huge Feed Heater (Furnace)With Air pre-heater system and with Fuel oil/Fuel gas combination burners, soaker, fractionating column, vacuum flasher, Double stagegas compressor apart from multi various design pumps.

* Responsible for Production Operation, monitor process parameters and correct the deviations and also responsible for optimizing process conditions to get the desired yield and quality of the product.
* Trouble shooting with minimum loss of production and quality of product.
* Co-ordinating with Deputy Managers and Other Plant operators for smooth operation.

Sulphur Recovery Unit
The two trains 180 MTPD Sulphur recovery unit has been successfully commissioned. The unit comprises of modern equipments like fuel gas based Thermal incinerator,LPG based main burner and Line burner, Low-pressure combustion air blowers, catalytic Claus/MCRC Converters, palletizer etc.
