Extensive hands-on United States and international oil and gas industry experience focused in the full spectrum of exploitation geology, from mapping and geocellular modeling through prospect generation, operations and reserves reconciliation. Direct technical responsibility for generating and executing over 500 projects including 167 development wells, 72 step-out exploration wells and 285 recompletions in 39 oil and gas fields worldwide, with 92% economic success rate. Texas Licensed Geologist Number 1455.

Technical specialist in mature fields rehabilitation, new field appraisal and development, horizontal well planning and geosteering, drilling and recompletion operations. Focused primarily in fluvio-deltaic and deepwater clastic depositional systems. Unconventional reservoir experience with low gravity oil in clastics and fractured diatomite, as well as fractured basement and overpressure. Geological and seismic mapping, fault seal and container analysis, Petrel 3D geocellular modeling, prospect generation, shallow hazards evaluation, POD's, drilling operations and post-well interpretation and integration. Generated 5 development wells and three step-out exploration well resulting in reserve additions of 380 BCF.

Generated exploration prospects in the North Sea Gas Basin, including the successful Camelot East, Topaz and Viper discoveries (320+ BCF). Geological due diligence responsibility for farm-in and acquisition efforts in the UK and German sectors of the North Sea. Competitor analysis of UK sector of the North Sea. Evaluation and exploitation responsibility for main Attaka Field deltaic reservoir interval and near-field exploration targets. Detailed container analysis, geological mapping, Petrel 3D geocellular modeling, prospect generation, cased-hole logging, well planning, drilling and logging operations, including real-time horizontal well geosteering, and workover and recompletion proposals. Generated 34 exploitation wells and 124 recompletions resulting in reserve additions of 17 MMBO and 12 BCFG. Received three Outstanding Performance Awards for highly successful swing gas infill drilling program, co-creation of corporate-standard computerized depletion planning and forecasting system (ADPS), and creation of reserves takepoint management system (ATW).

Lead Geologist for Attaka CFT, Unocal's largest multi-disciplinary field exploitation team worldwide. Provided primary technical QC on all new well and project proposals within the Attaka Production Sharing Contract area. Facilitated efforts of 10-15 geologists and four support personnel engaged in field development and step-out exploration activity - 131 wells and 423 recompletions since 1998. Mentored 14 junior Indonesian nationals in reservoir analysis, horizontal well geosteering and conventional drilling operations support.

Key CFT-management liaison for Annual Operating Plan, Budget ($75-200MM) and formulating and managing drilling portfolio. Principal geological representative in all Attaka-related JV partner and Indonesian Government PSC meetings. A senior technical advisor on exploitation geology within UIC.

Developed 11 step-out and wildcat exploratory gas wells resulting in reserves additions of 23 BCFG. Senior geological representative in JV partner and state government meetings. Technical oversight and management of four outsourced geotechnical evaluation projects.

Team Leader for 10 person, multi-disciplinary, Blewett Team, charged with exploration and development activity in Blewett Gas Trend of Central California. Received Outstanding Performance Award as Divestiture Team Leader for Unocal's North San Joaquin assets sale ($500 MM).

Team Leader for six-person, multi-disciplinary, Coalinga Team. Responsible for all exploitation efforts in Unocal's mature Coalinga Trend oil fields in Central California. Received President's Excellence Award for outstanding team leadership. Received Outstanding Performance Award for managing Coalinga East Extension Gas Plant shutdown and retirement.

Formulated and implemented four year development and step-out exploration plan for 18 mature oil and gas fields located in northern San Joaquin and Sacramento Basins, CA, including deltaic and deepwater clastic oil and gas reservoirs.
