OVERVIEW
Petroleum Engineer with strong knowledge and experience working for Oil & Gas companies, oilfield services and engineering companies. LOEWE MOLLER
Senior Area Manager, Assets, Operations and Services, Chile and Argentina 2000-2005
My activities were managing, supervising and leading a team as an independent financial, administrative and operative unit, resulting in a profitable business of:
- Operations services: Drilling (mud & air), cementing, pumping, rig-up, rig-down, assembling, piping, logging, testing, completion, workover, production facilities, geology, structures (design and construction), welding, overhauling, maintenance and repairing.
- Rental equipments, machinery and tools: Drilling rigs, pumps, compressors, generators, engines, tower cranes, mobile cranes, elevators, winches, excavators, trucks, modular offices, containers, pneumatic and electric hand tools, pipes, bits & drilling accessories.
- Logistic services: Budgets, purchases, imports, shipment, transportation, storage, inventory management, warehousing, distribution and report generation.
- Other services: Geology survey, environmental Issues, quality control and administration.
My responsibility was to constantly provide services and solutions to the workplaces throughout Chile and some places in Argentina; negotiating and acquiring the equipment needed and building the proper facilities for its storage and maintenance. My first task in this position was the creation of the Services Department.
BAKER HUGHES - WESTERN ATLAS
Quality Control and Field Engineer, Colombia and Venezuela 1998-1999
I worked as a Field Engineer coordinating the diverse field activities of quality control, drilling, surveying, acquisition and interpretation of samples and registries data, as well as environmental issues in petroleum exploration, geophysical and seismic projects in two and three dimensions, with the responsibility to report the daily advance to the head Office in Houston. These projects were located on geographical and social challenging environments. Logistics and communications played an important role in the achievement of goals.

OFFSHORE COVEÑAS PETROLEUM PORT
Petroleum Projects Engineer, Colombia 1995 – 1996
In this Latin-American petroleum port, I participated in a reengineering project about the development of a projection toward year 2010, related to infrastructure design, pipelines, storage, pumping, loading, offshore operations, environmental issues and financial evaluation. My responsibility was, as well, the optimisation of operating processes and performance in this offshore maritime oil terminal in Colombia.
