A total of 10 years experience in the Middle East region, I have worked with two International giants in the field of Oilfield Services, Gecoprakla-International(A division of Schlumberger) and Veritas DGC Ltd., in Kuwait and Sultanate of Oman respectively. I have also good exposure in the Supervision and Services of various Oil/Gas related equipments, Marine, Electrical & Mechanical products in the Middle East region.

1. Project Engineer, LIWA Group, Abu Dhabi, UAE. Nov 2004 till date
A leading Oil field supplies trading company in Abu Dhabi since 1995, a major supplier of Chemicals, Oil/Gas related Equipments etc¡K to ADNOC group of Companies.

Duties & Responsibilities
Supervision, Inspection & Services of Oil/Gas related Instrumentation, Electrical & Mechanical Equipments supplied & installed by the company.
Involved in the preparation of Tenders & Quotations to Government Oil Companies, Major Power & Utility Companies, Industrial Units etc.
Sourcing, Prequalification of new Products

2. Service Engineer. Asia Al Falahi & Partners Co., Oman. May 2000-Sep 2004
The Company was an active trading company and competitively supplies a wide range of Oil field equipments, Marine & Radio Communication equipments, Consumables etc... to Oman-based Energy companies, Ministries, and other Contractors.

Duties & responsibilities:
Job involved Installation & services of Oil field equipments, Marine & Radio Communication equipments to our Potential Customers.
I was also involved in the execution of Annual Maintenance Contracts of the different range of marine equipments supplied to our customers.
To interact with our Clients like Ministry of Defense, Ministry of Electricity, Petroleum Development Oman etc¡K in meeting their orders according to their specifications & requirements.
To co-ordinate for the preparation and submission of tenders, quotations etc... to our customers.

Achievements:
Special Appreciation from Ministry of Defense for timely maintenance of their eqpts.
A new project with Petroleum Development Oman was signed during my period.

3. Field Engineer Veritas DGC Ltd., Sultanate of Oman. June 1998-Mar 2000
The Company was doing 2D and 3D Land Seismic Survey in the interiors of Oman in finding oil, a project for Petroleum development Oman.

Duties & responsibilities:
Operation of the Recording instruments (SERCEL), checking the spread, managing the crews to yield quality seismic data & attain maximum production at the end of the day.
Involved in the installation & maintenance of the Mobile Radio Communication Equipments used for the whole operation
Supervised crews in laying equipments in the field, worked for Vibrator Pushing, rotation and maintenance of the seismic equipments concerned in obtaining quality seismic data.

4. Field Engineer Gecoprakla Intl, Kuwait & Egypt. Aug 1995-May 1998
The Company was a division of Schlumberger group of companies and was involved in 2D and 3D Land Seismic Survey for the whole of Kuwait (client was Kuwait Oil Company) and parts of Egypt.

Duties & responsibilities:
Operating the Recording instruments concerned (I/O System II) to produce quality Seismic Data.
Supervised the crews in the field laying equipments.
Involved in the installation and maintenance of the communication equipments for the whole operation.
Conducted tool box & safety meetings every day to my subordinates.
Achievements:
Promotion from Probationary period to Grade 5 Observer II in three months
Record production for the Company in April 1996 from our crew worked at Kuwait.

5. Hardware Engineer Bliztek Computers Pvt. Ltd., Kerala, India Aug 1991-June 1995

Duties & Responsibilities:
Installation & maintenance of Personal Computers, Computer related products & Accessories.
Involved in the Annual maintenance contract of Computers, Networking & hardware of machines.
Achievements:
Appreciation from our clients for excellent after sales support, Machine down time for the customers was brought to the very minimum by frequent inspections & proper maintenance.

Academic Project
Assembled a Multi-Port Memory Device called Systems Memory Controller as a project of the final year degree Examination. It is a Memory Unit which can be accessed by more than one device at a time via separate bus lines. (Done by testing with Microprocessor Intel 8085 units)
