1. Around 20 years experience in all QA/QC activities up to final certification of equipment and projects catering to Oil & Gas (Production Platforms, Refinery, Petrochemical, Fertilizer), Power plants (Nuclear & Thermal) and Shipbuilding.
2. Prepared, implemented and supervised Project Quality control Plans (PQP) for entire projects.
3. Experienced with various codes of construction such as ASME B&PV Code, TEMA, PD5500, ADM, API RP2A and various customer specifications.
4. Prepared, implemented and audited quality systems manual in compliance with ASME and ISO at manufacturing shops and construction sites.
5. Have full spectrum of skills required for Inspection work like welding inspection, dimensional control with precision instruments and optical tooling, pressure and leak tests such as hydrostatic, pneumatic, helium etc. and related report preparation.
6. Carried out mechanical testing like Tensile test, Hardness test (Rockwell, Brinnell, Vickers, Poldi and Micro-hardness), Bend test, Drop weight test and Impact test. Also familiar with heat treatment of ferrous and non ferrous materials, Forming of metals and alloys.

8. Adept in supervising project quality control and expediting including contractor scope of work and signing off punch lists.

Role
I was directly responsible to customer for all quality aspects of project. Each product supplied is certified for technical compliance and completeness. For entire project encompassing L&T's and sub supplier's scope of work., my activities include
Prepare, administer and implement Project Quality Assurance Plans (PQAP) for entire project after attending bid clarification and pre-inspection meetings with client.
Prepare, administer, implement and execute Inspection and Test Plans, In-process Quality Control Checklists, Welding Inspection Summary and specific operational QA/QC procedures, in accordance to Code requirements, project specifications, Third Party Inspection/ Client requirements, PQAP and good engineering practices.
Prepare, get approval, administer, implement and witness all testing procedures to be executed by Operations (like pneumatic, hydro-testing, leak testing etc) for all project works in accordance to Code requirements and project specifications.
Check, verify and endorse with full responsibility, the material certificates and vessel documentation against BOM and ensure conformance to Code requirements and project specifications. Maintaining material documentation traceable to the relevant projects materials.
Prepare, get approval, administer, implement and execute NDE procedures, visual and final inspection procedures, and other testing procedures for surface preparation and coating, testing of pumps, weighing for all projects in accordance to Code requirements and project specifications.
Administer and maintain all WPS, PQR, and current welder's Qualification Record, and to ensure that the applicable ones are used, or made ready if unavailable, for project.
Participate in suppliers, fabricators & contractors technical qualifications, conduct supplier visits, fabrication shop visits, construction site visits for QA compliance, approval of Vendor's QAPs & Procedures for Manufacturing and testing, expediting and progress verification.
Identifying, resolving with project team and closing of Non conformities at all work centers (Production shops, Vendor shops and Construction sites).
Conduit for all quality matters for entire project team and customer.
Prepare and get approval of MDR and final document dossiers.
