EXPERIENCE I was employed by Amec Fluor Daniel as a Competance Assessor.The job involved updating and rewriting Electrical Maintenance Procedures. Competancy Based Training Assessments (CBTA) are used to assess the ExxonMobile staff working on the Hyundai Kizomba "A" FPSO being built by Hyundai.
The assessment's are split into two distinct parts, consisting of firstly a Procedures section with all the associated hazards, risks and precautions. The second part is made up of all the Maintenance Tasks which are contained within the procedures. The assessment is completed in the form of written answers and on the job identification of components along with task simulation.
