WORK EXPERIENCE:
1. Production Operator / Production Field Supervisor (Well Head) Total Fina Elf Iran
June 2005 To Feb 2006
Responsibilities As Production Supervisors Are:
a) Involving in the commissioning of Oil, Gas and Water Injection wells b) Co-ordinating with the rig activities like SIMOPS (Simultaneous Operation), Preparing Daily reports and attending daily production meetings. Co-ordinating with SIMOPS activities of ESD1, PSLL & PSHH test on the wellheads. Co-ordinating with the commissioning of new wells including Flow line Hook-up, perforation, acidizing and clean-up. Training of Local Iranian well head operators.
c) Weekly testing of the safety systems of the well heads.
Since Jan 2005 to June 2005
Responsibilities As Production Operators Where:
a) Involved in the commissioning of the Oil and Gas facilities like Amine treatment Unit, Glycol Gas conditioning unit using TEG, Oil separation and Stabilisation unit producing oil 80000 barrels /day and Gas Compression Unit.
b) Training of local Iranian operators.
2. Production Operator (Offshore)

May 2004 to Sept 2004 (Short term commissioning contract)
Responsibilities Are:
a) Coordinating the commissioning activities of Gas Injection Plant Phase 3. Monitoring the process in CSP (collector Separation Plant which is Oil gathering Plant); GG2 (Gas Gathering Plant which is also gas injection plant which has 3 Rolls Royce Avon Gas Turbines and 3 Dresser Rand Gas Compressor injecting 90mmscf gas per day) and GIP (gas injection plant) which take its gas from GG2 and injection it at 5000psi pressure. Gip has 3 Rolls Royce Compressors and injects 100mmscf gas per day). Also have to do coverage in Water Injection Plant injecting water to water wells at 3500psi pressure using the DCS (distributed control System) of Bailey.
b) Reporting of abnormalities to the Superiors. Training of the local Operators.
Co-ordinating with permit to work activities of the plant such as mechanical, electrical and instrumentation jobs in the plant.
3. Control Room Operator (Offshore)

From May 2001 to Jan 2003
Responsibilities Are:
a) Commissioning and Monitoring of the oil gathering Station and Associated Gas Plant (For Flare Reduction Project) using the DCS system of FOXBORO I.A.
b) Commissioning and Monitoring the Equipments such as the Gas Compressors and Power generators and turbines (Nuovo Pignone) using the DCS system.
c) Training of the Nigerian Operator trainees
4. Process Operator (Offshore)

From September1998 to July 2000
Responsibilities Are:
a) As process operator monitoring of gas production from Well heads (Gas wells).
Monitoring Glycol Dehydrating system using D.C.S (FOXBORO I.A.).Monitoring the Operation of Typhoon Gas Turbine Generator Sets.
Logging production data and reporting any abnormalities to the production supervisor. Coordinating with Mechanical, Instrumentation, Electrical, Well services and Safety departments for day-to-day plant activities.
5. Production Operator/ Well Head Operator
A) Petroleum Development Oman, (Shell), Oman.
September 1993 to April 1994, June 1995 to November 1995.
b) Al Furrat Petroleum Company (Shell Petroleum Co.) Syria,
Jan 1996 to Dec 1996.
c) Petroleum Development Oman, (Shell), Oman.
From March 1997 to Jan 1998.
Responsibilities Are:
a) As Production Operator in Oil gathering stations operating the facility which includes Well Heads, Gas Lift, Water injection, Oil Gathering Stations, PIG Launching / Retrieving, Glycol Dehydration, Propane Chilling, NGL Recovery and Gas Sweating (SULPHEROX) and LNG Plants.
b) Monitoring of crude oil production by maintaining the required station backpressure.
c) Monitoring the gas lift to the individual injection well.
d) Monitoring of water injection to individual water injection wells using the latest SCADA technology and RTUs.
e) Testing of individual oil wells using Daniel Senior orifices for oil, BSW periodically and reporting of abnormalities in production to the supervisor and preparing test sheets for the wells being tested. Also testing of Oil wells using the Multi Component flow meters.
f) Periodic monitoring of Chemical injections like corrosion inhibitor injections, Demulsifier injection & scale inhibitor injections.
g) Periodic monitoring of individual well heads for abnormalities and well output.
h) Checking the annulus pressure of individual wells for communication between annulus for the casing.
Monitoring the well head safety conditions and coordinating with the wire line crew for jobs such as flowing gradient survey using Amerada, static survey, build-up survey, acid stimulation job, well kill job, Gauge Cutter Runs, Well Unloading etc., i) Monitoring safety of the plant and the safety of the hot work / cold work job going on in the plant and logging of plant conditions. Also handled Hot Tapping jobs.
Well versed in Oil and Gas separation process and testing of individual well production using latest D.C.S. of TDC 3000 of Honeywell, U.S.A.
Well versed with Solar Centaur, Ruston TB5000 and Rolls Royce Avon Gas Turbines.
Handled multi-stage gas compressor (Nuovo Pignone) having capacity of 62500 NM3/hour and also handled DEMAG Booster Compressors and Dresser Centrifugal Compressors, Multi stage Babcock Borsig Centrifugal compressors and also related equipment's such as gas scrubbers and Fin-Fan coolers.
Handled emergency and normal start-up and Shutdown activities of the oil gathering Stations.
Preparing daily production reports on PC and reporting to the supervisor concern.
Training of Local operators and trainees.
6. Plant Operator
Saudi Iron And Steel (Hadeed, Al-Jubail).
March 1992 to June 1993
Responsibilities Are:
a) Worked as Plant operator in-plant for producing iron from iron oxide by reduction using carbon monoxide and hydrogen.
b) Worked in Natural Gas Pre-treatment plants.
c) Well versed with reforming process and Shaft furnace.
d) Well versed with Control systems TDC-3000 of Honeywell, U.S.A.
e) Well versed with Cryogenic distillation of Methane.
f) Handled the shut down and start up activities in the plant.
g) Training of local trainee operators.
7. Distillation Operator - Grade A
Reverse Osmosis Desalination Plant
Ministry Of Works, Power And Water, State Of Baharain.
August 1989 to August 1991.
Responsibilities Included:
a) Keeping the plant in proper running condition.
b) Monitoring equipment's such as heavy duty submersible centrifugal pumps (capacity 6000 cubic meters per hour); Dual media filters controlled by P.L.Cs (programmable logic controllers); timely logging of plant conditions; controlling the plant parameters such as pressure, flow etc. Using modern Digital Control Systems (CENTUM of YOKOGAWA, Japan)
c) Reporting of any abnormalities of the plant equipment's and process to the foreman concerned.
d) Cleaning the permeater membrane chemically according to laboratory requirements and specifications, using chemicals like sodium sulphate, citric acid, ammonia, detergents, tannic acid and formalin.
e) Re-coating the inner membrane parts to give better output.
The total output was 10 million gallons per day)
Lubrication of equipment's.
f) Training of local operators.
8. Process Technician
Bharat Petroleum Corporation Ltd., Refinery Division,
Bombay, India. (Former SHELL Refineries)
August 1982 to August 1989
Worked as a trainee operator from August 1982 to August 1985. On completion of the training period and successful completion of the N.C.T.V.T. examination conducted by the Govt. Of India was confirmed as Process Technician (Refining Division).
Responsibilities Included:
Worked as Process Technician at the aromatics unit of the refinery, which manufactures Benzene and Toluene using Naphtha as raw material. The Benzene output was 85000 MT per year and Toluene output was 17500 MT per year.
Performed assignments in various units of the Oil Refinery such as:
a) Crude Distillation Units having processing capacity of 20000 tones of crude per day. The Crudes include Bombay High crude, Iranian heavy and light and Middle East Crudes like Royal Saudi Crudes. The products of CDU are L.P.G., Wild and treated Gasoline, High-Speed Diesel oil, LDO (Light Diesel Oil), Kerosene and Aviation Turbine fuel.
b) Vacuum Distillation units producing Waxy distillates for Cracking unit.
c) Bitumen Blowing Unit producing Bitumen.
d) Catalytic Cracking Unit using Silica Alumina as Catalyst producing L.P.G, Light Cycle Oil, and Heavy Cycle oil clarified oil and high Octane Gasoline as end products.
e) Sulphur Recovery units to recover H2S from Refinery off-Gases by using Claus process.
f) Platinum Reforming Unit used for producing higher Octane Gasoline.
g) Tank age and Blending Units for dispatching the products such as Gasoline, Diesel (H.S.D.), L.D.O, ATF and LPG.
h) Utilities section including Demineralising plant and Water softening plant, Boilers (BABCOCK and WILCOX make and Cross Tube Marine Type), cooling water system using Turbo set pumps.
Handled the Refinery equipment's like pumps of Centrifugal types and Reciprocating types (positive displacement types) Absorbers, Separators, Air drying units, Reboilers, Distillation columns, Vaporizers, Heaters or Furnaces, Coaelcers, Thomassen Gas Compressors, Atlas Copco Air Compressor and Steam Turbines. Experienced in Plant monitoring using Distributed Control Systems of CENTUM of YOKOGAWA Japan, HONEYWELL, USA (TDC 3000) and FOXBORO, USA.
