As a night electrician for 4 years, then promoted to Snr Electrician At Oct 1998. With duties include all aspects of Rig Maintaining & Troubleshooting, for all rig specific systems and equipments as Ross Hill, Hill Hayes SCR control system, Varco and National Oil well Top Drive System, Cat Power Generators and many others rig systems.

Presentation of the field experience S.C.R System I.D.M & GE - Ross hill, I.B.S, I.P.E.C System, S.P. Coordinator - VR 2000, Egyptian Drilling Company (EDC)
* This section is responsible for following up the preventive maintenance that took place in rigs, preparing rig data sheet according to EDC standards, issuing work instruction, assigning weekly jobs for each rig, saving jobs history, and maintaining the VR software in all rigs.
* The VR (is the abbreviation of Visual Rig Equipment Management System), that is used in EDC for maintenance; designed specially for EDC in Copenhagen VR is an application form that is connected to a database of all maintenance and repair reports (MRRs), jobs history, work instructions, weekly jobs, and many other modules that the application contained.
* My responsibilities are represented in installing the VR software in the computers of the rigs and on the computers of superintendents with full administrator privileges, training superintendents, senior mechanics, senior electricians how to use VR, making visits to rigs to maintain the application.
Project Controller – New Building Section, EDC
* This section is responsible for bringing rigs from the manufacturer (USA, Canada,…etc.) to Egypt and making the rig up test, it's divided into two teams:
1- Local Team: Responsible for filing all documents that sent by immigrant team, making the required work orders, purchase orders requisitions…etc., following up local fabrication and contractors, and finally following up the rig up test in Egypt.
2- Immigrant Team: Responsible for preparing all contracts and purchase orders for new rig equipment, following up rig manufacturing, issuing reports of manufacturing progress, making rig data sheets, listing equipment lists and finally following up the rig up test in USA or where ever the rig is.
* My responsibilities are represented in controlling the local team in Egypt and be contacted with the immigrant team abroad.
On General
I have been working in Oil Field since March1993 to date, started as Assistant Electrician on land rigs and offshore rigs, gradually was trained and got the experiences in how to maintain Any Electronic and Electrical component or equipment on Rig Site, with assuring of services quality level on trouble shooting and standard working efficiency in standard time which lead me to be promoted to be a Senior Electrical Engineer.
