Job Summary:
Managerial approach based on considering events that trigger, interrupt, suspend, or modify the movement of flows from Imprint Plus, international suppliers, and outsourced warehouses.

General Logistics and Supply Chain Management Duties:
* Plan and develop directives; establishes and maintains policies and procedures for logistics projects, work on special projects as needed, and provide advisory service.
* Manage the development of logistics operating budget, make decisions on allocation and reallocation of funds.
* Oversee the productivity and quality of deliveries by coordinating with other departments and the carriers to facilitate an efficient operation.
* Supervise two Shipping and Receiving Assistants in all functional areas related to transportation and shipments of inventory
* Enhance own knowledge base through - related training and research.
* Co-ordinate with IT department to improve the supply chain planning and shipping documents.
* Responsible for RMAs. and placing claims for damaged goods
* Regularly meeting with the Director of operations, Production Manager, Warehouse Manager and Sales staff to improve current issues and procedures
Global Logistics Duties:
* Supervise CTPAT compliance implementation
* Responsible for NAFTA certificate compliance
* Conduct warehouse audits to assure proper information on products and packages
* Negotiate with freight suppliers on rates
* Supervise and Prepare international shipping document, including commercial invoice, waybills, certificate of origins, etc.
* Responsible for Export Declaration (B13) forms
* Responsible for reducing costs of duties and brokerage
* Responsible for dealing with US customs to resolve questions
* Responsible for reducing cost of freight for importing shipments
* Train sales team and managers to ensure the terms of sales are according to international commercial terms (INCOTERMS)
* Review, and approve logistics of sales contracts for international customers

* Process orders through Knelson internal system
* Communicate with clients and agents on order status.
* Coordinate freight moves for international and domestic cargo.

* Review sales contracts for financial exposure and to mitigate potential risk of litigation with reference to Sr. Logistics Coordinator as required.
* Review import and export Letters of Credit for potential risks of litigation and banking requirements for payments
* Ensure Knelson complies with all aspects of letters of credits and contracts and coordinates payment of letter of credits with the financial institutions.
* Arrange for pre-shipment inspections as required by contract or destination country.
* Process any returned goods as required for exchange or warranty
* Work closely with vendors, customers, couriers, forwarders and agents to carry out every aspect of the supply chain cycle of their orders.
* Communicate with members of the MRP, Engineering, Production, Sales and Accounting departments to process customer orders.
* Communicate with financial institutions to process letter of credits and bank guarantees.
