Daily responsibilities include gauging of daily water and oil production, examination of the tank battery, troubleshooting production slowdowns such as flow line leaks, mechanical problems.
1 Supervised assigned pulling units and performed general pump jack maintenance and ensuring the firewall remained free of debris, maintenance of saltwater pumps and injection/disposal wells and offered assistance to backhoe operators in repairing underground leaks.
2 Devised an innovative acid test to determine whether a newly drilled oil well would prove productive and saved the company over $2,500 in operator and drilling costs.
