Installation and maintenance of electrical systems using rope access.
Working out of Aberdeen (Scotland), the Shetland Islands (Scotland) and Great
Yarmouth (England) I was part of a team of 4 rope access qualified Electrical
Technicians, whose purpose was the installation, inspection, testing, commissioning and maintenance of offshore oil rig 'Navigation lighting and control systems'.
Working within strict health and safety guidelines and IRATA rope access procedures
The team was responsible for operations to Shell, Total Fina and ConocoPhilips
Platforms, throughout the British North-Sea sector.
