Main duties involved:
Co-ordinating a fully & comprehensive management and control system pertaining to hoisting and lifting activities for Shell EPE Northern North Sea Assets.
Managing the day-to-day business carried out by the LOLER team.
Assuring technical integrity and implementation of all LOLER related work scopes.
Co-ordinating and interfacing with HSE, Step Change, Cogent, OCA with respect to LOLER Compliance and Competence issues.
Acting as overall focal point for all engineering, maintenance, shutdown and project personnel involved in LOLER operations.
Acting as the management focal point for all assigned personnel.
Ensuring effective maintenance of Performance through the HS&E and STOP program.
Responsible for assessing effectiveness of working practices and systems with a view to continuously improving systems, personal and team performance.
Carrying out work in accordance with Health, Safety, Environmental and Quality systems.
Identifying gaps in the NVQ and SVQ performance and supporting the offshore teams in filling those gaps for LOLER related activities.
Providing guidance on the interpretation and implementation of regulatory and contractual requirements of LOLER.
Co-ordinating the execution of a Scheme of Thorough Examination.
Providing technical support and guidance on suitability of lifting equipment and accessories.

SIGMA3 – SENIOR IMPLEMENTATION ENGINNER LOLER

The implementation and management of the Sigma3 Lifting Equipment Integrity Management System (LEIMS).
The management of lifting equipment hired and fixed.
Management of SI2307 Offshore Inspections.
Manage, and raise requisitions and notifications in the SAP system.
Organize and participate in incident investigations involving hoisting and lifting equipment.
Prepare Lifting Plans/Drawings and Risk Assessment for inclusion in work packs in line with implementation processes.
Promoting lateral learning of Best Practices on Hoisting and Lifting and ensuring compliance with LOLER and PUWER regulations.
Supporting Asset Implementation and Project Engineers ensuring effective, efficient and safe use of the Implementation and LOLER Groups across Processes.
Interfacing with lifting equipment suppliers and 3rd parties.
Participating in National and Industry Workgroups/Forums to develop Best Practice and Guidelines on Hoisting and Lifting activities.
