MINING TECHNICAL WORKS
BLASTING:
* Velocity of Detonation (VOD) setting our and analysis of data.
* Fragmentation analysis for the blasted material and optimization of a blast to the required 80% passing particle sizes.
* Vibration analysis for the mine/quarry blast, using a seismic machine and analyse the data collected from the seismic machine.
* Management of the Bulk Explosive manufacturing plant (Emulsion plant)
* Management of explosive trucks ( Priming, charging, tying and shutting the blast)
* Blasting designs and applications for Nonel and Electronic blasts

DRILLING MANAGEMENT
* Drill control for all types of drilling machines i.e. DML 230mm diameter holes, and Roc L8 for the diameters between 89mm to 150mm holes.
* Design of drilling pattern using the drilling and blasting software's like Shot plus and win blast or Sabrex from African Explosives Limited
* Management of Drilling equipments like Atlas copco and Tam rock Drill rigs

MINE HAULAGE
* Optimization of the truck cycle time, and fleet management work, which is my current employment task.
* Optimization of loading equipment cycle times, for wheel loaders and excavators.

WATER MANAGEMENT IN PIT
* Management of water in mines underground, open pit or quarry mining (the dewatering system designs and management)
