Rig Mechanic on the Sedneth 701 in Angola. Duties included working alone as a mechanic and also working along side other mechanics assisting and performing tasks. Completed the refit where we rebuilt pumps and motors along with other various tasks that included performing daily checks on all the equipment onboard. I have worked on such equipment as Draw works motors, Mud pumps, Lifeboats, replace Radiator on crane engines, Detroit diesel generators, Boilers, Davits, repacked Hydrophones, various other pumps and motors and regular maintenance of EMD main engines and Detroit diesel crane engines.
TRANSOCEAN January 2008 – July 2008

I worked as a Rig Mechanic on the Aleutian Key for Transocean. Duties included working nights with another mechanic doing regular maintenance and performing tasks alone. I performed tasks such as repacking Hydrophones, rebuilding and repairing EMD main engines, regular maintenance of Detroit diesel generators, Shale shakers, Draw works motors, Rotary tables, Water makers, Lifeboats and various types and styles of pumps, motors and valves.

Worked as a Factory Mechanic onboard the factory freezer trawler ocean prawns. Performed regular duties like installing Hydraulic lines and repairing Hydraulic motors. Completed regular repairs on deck with winches and other deck equipment and when necessary completed regular bridge watches and assisted the Chief Engineer.

Worked on Anchor handler Boats doing rig moves, rig tows and iceberg tows. Worked in the engine room with the chief engineer assisting and completing duties on night watch alone. Worked on Purifiers and EMD engines deck winches and any other equipment that needed repairs.
