JOB DESCRIPTION:
*Smooth and safe start -up of the plant.
*Maintain the process parameters and operate the equipments for getting maximum production.
*Checking and handover the equipments to maintenance for any abnormality.
*Smooth and safe shutdown of the plant incase of emergency or planned shutdown.
*Writing the readings &plant activity in the log sheet and book
*Follow up the plant maintenance activity.
*House-keeping.

UTILITIES & OFFSITES:
Boiler Feed water preparations:
The job and the Process involved is removal of mineral salts and Dissolved gases from water:
„« Removal of mineral salts in water is done by Filtration and softening process in the Reverse osmosis plant and Demineralization plant. (ion exchange)

WATER TREATMENT PLANTS: very good knowledge and work experience in the following various water treatment plants such as;

1. Knowledge and Experience in De-mineralization plant- PLC operation: (Plant capacity 160 m3 /hr - softening process)
a. Removal of mineral salts from water by ion exchanges using cation exchanger and anion exchanger.
2. Knowledge and Experience in Reverse Osmosis plant -DCS operations: (3 no's of plant each capacity 120 m3/hr- Filtration process)
a. Reduced the conductivity and removal of silica, chlorides, Total Dissolved solids i.e., ca, mg, Na, salts very minimum levels using membranes, pressure vessels and high pressure pumps.
b. Monitor the Pre-treatment activity i.e., PH correction, algae formation and micro organisms are controlled using Roughing filters, Dual media filters, cartridge filters, chemicals Dosing and chlorine addition.
c. Good knowledge and experience about membrane chemical washing for achieve the rated output of the membrane.
d. Monitor the SDI&REDOX reaction.
3. Knowledge and Experience in cooling Tower plant: (10 no's of cells each cell capacity 8000Gpm-Stabilizing treatment process)
a. Maintain the cooling water temperature b. Controlling the Total Dissolved solids and corrosion levels.
c. Avoid scaling and algae formation using chemicals dosings,chlorine addition and Blow down.
DAP-PLANT:
A. Granulation:
a. Good knowledge & Experience in High pressure pipe reactor technology b. Monitor granulation with respect to moisture and temperature c. Monitor granulator and dryer speed d. Monitor cyclones¡¦ performance e. Monitor raw materials dosing system to avoid over / under formulation f. Monitor Fluid bed cooler performance and chilling system

B. Scrubbers:
a. Slurry preparation, maintain mole ratio and specific gravity in pre- neutralization Tank.
b. Scrubber liquor solution preparation for recirculation and Pipe Reactor feed.
c. Check the pressure differential across the venturi throat for any plugging.
d. Check all the ID fans suction and discharge pressure for any build up.
e. Check the current of the pumps and fans for any overloading.
f. Monitor Scrubbing System to recover nutrients and to avoid pollution.
C. Port Operations:
a. Good Knowledge & experience in liquid loading from ship to shore tanks.
b. Pressure testing of pipe lines and hoses c. Pre and post shipment activities.
d. Good experience in cleaning Sludge in the Phos. acid storage tank.
e. Good experience in solid material loading and unloading from ship to wharf and warehouse

D. Control Operations:
a. Posses Knowledge in Process DCS Control operation, b. Posses knowledge & experience in Process Control of Pumps, Combustion Chamber, Fans, Agitators, Dryer, Granulator, Coater, Pulverizer, Blunger, Elevators, Cyclones, Conveyors etc.
c. Posses Knowledge in Flow indicating Controllers, Control Valves, Digital Recorders, Dip tube level indicators, Mag meter, Target meter etc.

E. Training:
a. Underwent Operator Training program in MFL: 1989 to 1991 (2 Years)
b. Attended training related with personality Development, organization behavior and Fire Fighting. & Safety.
c. Emergency Response crew member.
d. Attended training program on DCS operations.
e. Passed work permit exam conducted by Safco.
