 With 8 years experience in the Oil industry contract and procurement, I have held positions as Special Projects contracts Engineer, Contract Engineer and Technical Analyst.

 I am very career motivated and I am looking for opportunities to improve and streamline both my personal and business work process and procedures.

EXPERIENCE
 I have capitalised a good experience over the past eight years supporting the operation of a major onshore oilfield in Algeria covering all contracts activities associated with Drilling operations and supply of equipment and services for contracts often valued in millions of dollars from preparation of tender documents through evaluation, award and close out.

ACHIEVEMENTS
 I have been dealing with the procurement for projects, importantly the supply of line pipe for well hook-ups project and also I have been responsible of the supply of some specified equipments required for the upgrade and modification work to our Central Processing Facilities.
 I have handled many service contracts including the Engineering and the construction contracts to support the projects stated above and also the Drilling activity including rig hire and associated services, Reservoir and other major service contracts relating to GB operations.

PRESENT POSITION

Groupement Berkine (GB) - Special Projects Contracts Engineer
Since March 2006 up to now

 Dealing with the major contracts for the supply of materials relating to GB's projects, the service contracts to support those projects and also others service contracts required for GB's operations.

Groupement Berkine is the operator in two oilfields situated at 1,000 Km in the South-East of Algiers in the Algeria's desert currently producing approximately 230,000 barrels a day. The Groupement is an association formed by Sonatrach, the Algerian national oil Company and three others international companies; Anadarko (USA), ENI (Italy) and Maersk (Denmark).

Responsibilities:

 Assist Contract Manager in the development and implementation of the pre-award process and thereafter responsible for the ongoing operation and maintenance of the approved supply chain process and procedures
 Notification to Contract Manager of all exceptions and breaches of procedure and process with remedies for rectification and analysis of potential effects
 Lead role in day to day pre-contract process for all assigned requisitions for both International and National Contracts including but not limited to the preparation, issuing, receiving, evaluating offers of bidders, dealing with the clarification and the negotiation of the terms and conditions and finally formalizing recommendation for the Management for the contract award.
 Provide direction and supervise Technical Analyst, identify training requirements and develop training schedule
 Maintain pre award contract filing system

CAREER HISTORY
Contract Engineer (Groupement Berkine)
From Jan 2003 to March 2006:

 Lead role in day to day pre-contract process for all assigned requisitions for both International and National service Contracts.
 Responsible for all aspects of pre-Contract Award administration through to Contract award.
 Develop, implement, execute and maintain the pre- Contract Award process to ensure compliance to GB Internal Contracting procedures and industry standards.

Technical Analyst (Groupement Berkine)
From April 2001 to Jan 2003:

 Provide assistance and support to the Contract Engineer in all aspects of pre contract award through to contract award.
 Ensure compliance to GB Internal Contracting procedures.
 Assist when instructed with post-award activities.

SKILLS:
 I have an advanced skills relating to contracts formulating, negotiation and award of extremely complex and high valued contracts.
 Fluent in Arabic, French and English
 I have a good IT skill including experience in all the MS office packages (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, outlook etc) and experience in use of an integrated procurement system (MUSIS).
